Materials

Worsted weight yarn* (50 grams/147 yds per skein)
2 skeins each pink #292, gold #243, lavender #234 and green #228
Size G/6 crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

Plastic square holder for utensils
Washable fabric glue

Pattern Note

Place Mat
Note: Make 1 each pink, gold, lavender and green.
Rnd 1: Ch 9, sc in 9th ch from hook, [ch 8, sc in same 9th ch from hook] 5 times. (6 ch-8 sps)
Rnd 2: [Working in next ch-8 sp, sc in each of next 4 chs, ch 4, sc in each of next 4 chs, sc in sc] rep around. (6 petals)
Rnd 3: Working behind petals, [ch 6, sk 8 sc, sc in next sc] rep around. (6 ch-6 sps)
Rnd 4: Sl st in ch-6 sp, ch 3 (counts as first dc), 3 dc in same sp, 3 sc in ch-4 sp of corresponding petal, 4 dc in same ch-6 sp, *4 dc in next ch-6 sp, 3 sc in ch-4 sp of corresponding petal, 4 dc in same ch-6 sp, rep from * around, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.

Rnd 3: Ch 3, dc in next dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in each of next 2 dc, sc in sc, [dc in each of next 2 dc, 3 dc in next dc, dc in each of next 2 dc, sc in sc] rep around, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3.

Leaf
Make 30 green
Row 1: Ch 5, tr in 5th ch from hook, ch 2, sc in top of tr, tr in same ch, ch 4, sc in same ch, fasten off. Glue flowers and leaves around top and front of basket.
