Give the bride-to-be this pretty blue garter to wear on her wedding day!

Materials

* Crochet cotton size 10: small amount blue
* Size 7 steel crochet hook
* 3/8"-wide white ribbon: circumference of garter plus 2 1/2"
* 1/4"-1/2" satin ribbon roses: 3 blue and 1 white
* 1/4"-wide elastic
* Sewing needle and matching thread

Gauge
Work evenly and consistently.

Pattern Stitch
Shell: [2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc] in indicated st.

Garter
Row 1: Ch 8, shell in 5th ch from hook, ch 1, sk 2 chs, shell in first st of ch-9, ch 4, turn.
Row 2: Shell in shell, ch 1, shell in shell, ch 4, turn.
Rep Row 2 until garter measures desired length.

Finishing
Cut a 2 1/2" length of ribbon in half. Weave rem ribbon through ch-1 sps between shells; sew ends tog.
Weave elastic through shells under ribbon. Sew ends tog.
Glue 2 short lengths of ribbon to center front of garter as shown in photo. Trim ends at an angle. Glue ribbon roses on top of short ribbon lengths.
