Настроение музыки - снова надрывный смурной декаданс.
На что похоже - на их же Exister, Ultra, но не такое улетное и совсем не заводное . Уж больно царапучая музыка. (исключения - "Perfect", "Jezebel", "Corrupt") Предыдущий альбом "Playing the Angel" 2005 года в сравнении с 2009-м - праздничная дискотека летней ночью на базе отдыха!
Звук - еще больше нойза, индастриала, мелодические решения, свойственные для Депеш, но не перфектные.
Вчера "посчастливилось" попасть на видео с этого альбома - "Wrong". По первому впечатлению, эта песня может стать хитом альбома, но уж больно она ровная, как гладильная доска. Может и не стать. А что касается видео - эмоциональный шок от него гарантирован. я не вижу смысла в популяризации этого видео, оно не нормально, оно wrong
