 So, as you may have seen from the post I wrote on the AFI sites, we're entering the studio to record the new album. I'm beyond excited to commit these songs to tape.

Davey and I spent countless hours holed up in basements, hotel rooms, and houses penning these tracks, we even wrote some on the bus on the Blaqk Audio tour. The 4 of us have worked hard on this album and it's finally all coming together.

David Bottrill is great, very laid back and intelligent, very knowledgeable about music. He produced Tool's Lateralus and Aenima, which are two of the best rock records of the past 2 decades. He was also a producer on Origin of Symmetry, which is my favorite Muse album. And from the electronic music side of my brain, he produced a Paul Oakenfold effort.

So let's get in the studio and the next time you see us will be on the stage.
