Британцы Placebo продолжают интриговать слушателей, по капле выдавая информацию о своем новом альбоме, запланированном к выпуску на 13 марта студийном полноформатнике «Meds». Как выяснилось, на одном из треков альбома появится специальный приглашенный гость - им станет не кто иной, как вокалист американской группы R.E.M. Майкл Стайп (Michael Stipe). Музыкант принял участие в записи композиции «Broken Promise».

Еще в одной песне - давшей название альбому «Meds» - можно будет услышать вокалистку американского дуэта The Kills Элисон Моссхарт.

«Meds» - пятый в дискографии студийный альбом Placebo. Он последует за выпущенным в 2004-м году альбомом «Sleeping With Ghosts» и сборником лучших хитов «Once More With Feeling» (2005).
