I know that there are some small ammount of people, who do what thay like most of all in the world end they are paid for this. My husband is one of them.
I wish I was... I'm not. I dont know to what activity I can dedicate my life. Now I'm inclined to think that it will be growing up my children. But I don't have them yet. So I can't prove it. And I'm surely won't be paid for it. When I was a schoolgirl, I thought that my mission is langueges. I finished the univercity at FLD to understand that it is not.
Now I'm thinking about my sister, who is at the parting of the ways. She is to make a decision (9th form) where to go study and what to do in the life. She is too young to deside, but no one has right to make the choice ang to choose between well-paid job or interesting one. The funniest thing is that she doesn't know what is interesting for her.

Well... this topic, I think, is actual not only for me, but for every ex- student of FLD. I start forgetting the language. "How can this be true?!?" - I ask myself. I've studied it for whole my life and suddenly I'm not capable of fluent speaking.
What should I do?!? Maybe going to the language school? NO! My linguistic pride will be hurt.
Speaking to a foreigner? Where will I find him in the middle of Siberia, I wonder?
ICQ, for instance? It'll only ruine my miserable spelling...

[260x348] Well,  nobody writes, I think it's because of the beginning of autumn, a lot of  work, problems... So, ok.
The new school year has just started and so parents have got new problems. I won't touch upon the problem of money which they should pay but of time which they should find for their children to help them with their homework after they (parents) came home tired after work.

Hi, folk! Would like to ask you: when reading some books you really like, do you associate yourself with heroes of those books? Who are they? Do you have any universal hero? Do you associate with movies as well?

As for me, I divide such associations into "who I am" and "who I want to be like". And often this "who I am" differs from my fav hero ;) Can you name any examples of yours?

At the last session the Old English was the worst examination. You know, the most insulting thing is that you read up for them (exams, I mean), but it's useless. The head is empty again and you're nervously trying to remember the most important theses or just definitions, but then you just get your mark (of which you're not satisfied) and go outside to smoke... You may just guess what happened to your brains...
How do you read up for your exans? Maybe, you have some system of preparing?
