Рю сначала состаял в банде, потом когда он подрался с Йо, он увидел его шамансую силу, и даже назвал его Мастером, да и всегда так называл. Рю стал другом Йо и Манты. Хорошо относится к Лайсергу и Милли. Всегда думает о красотках и алкоголе. Мечтает о "Best Place", где бы лучше ужиться. Захотел стать шаманом, но у него сначала не получалась, хотя он делал для этого всё, что мог. В конце концов сбылась его мечта , стать Шаманом. Как ненароком его телом завладел некий дух Такагеро. Потом он с ним подружился и всегда ему помогал, так он и стал шаманом. Весёлый человек, всегда всем помогал и никогда не предавал своих друзей.

Потом нашёл комнату, где были свитки и книги о НЕКРОМАНТИИ, чтоб воскрешать всех мертвецов. Он воскресил свою жену Элизу (Eliza), но он не видел её внешности, её красоту, её присутсвие рядом с ним. Он убил себя, снова воскресился и был бессмертным. Стал шаманом. Когда он дрался с Йо, он захотел убить Манту, то ли забрать душу его, чтоб воскресит Элизу, то ли просто поиздеваться над Мантой. Потом всё обошлось. Он встретил Анну, анна сказала ему, будешь помогать Йо, то я воскрешу твою жену Элайзу. Он согласился. Он помогал Йо в борьбе с Хао и другими, но всегда теперь был со своей женой Элизой.

Лайсерг жил в Лондоне с его родителямии храниелем-духом Морфин. Морфин была духом его отца, но чтбы она стала духом Лайсерга, отец посадил её в специальную магическую клетку, где её можно было открыть ключом, которы находится где-то в городе. Лайсерг нашёл ключ на верху башни часов Биг Бена (Big Ban). Когда он вернулся чтобы показать, что он освободил Морфин, то увидел что его родители мертвы, весь дом пылал в огне, посреди комнаты стоял человек, это был Хао Асакура (брат-близнец Йо). Лайсерг поклялся отомстить Хао, и пошёл в поиски друзей, которые ему помогут в этом. Он нашёл, это был Йо и его друзья. Но Лайсерг не хотел сравнивать себя с другими, но так получилось и он заметил, что он самый слабый из них. Но вот он нашёл одну команду, которая обищат всем, кто встанет на их нюю сторону, станет сильней, т.к. они служат богу. это били
X-LAWS. Лайсерг так и сделал, предал друзей и пошёл на всречу к этой команде, и в правду он стал сильнее, зато бросил друзей, бросил Морфин, зато получил ного духа-хранителя археангела. В конце концов Лайсерг осознал свою ошибку, встал на сторону друзей, объеденил двох своих духов-хранителей воедино и начел осуществлять свою месть к Хао.

Но в бою, увидели все, какая у него сила. Он быстр и хитр, как ягуар. Раньше он жил с одним свом учителем, по имени (Orona), называл его Мастером, он тоже был шаманом. Но как-то его учитель сказал, что он умирает и отдоёт ему своего духа-хранителя(Мика), так как он видел, он даже принадлежит ему. С тех пор Мик является духом-хранителем Чоколава.Мастер его научил побеждать врага, не причинив не ему боль, не себе, разве что, пошутив. Он старается всё делать, чему его учил его Мастер. Его шутки понимают только в бою, и над его шутками смеются Тамао и Пирика. Его лучшим другом стал Рен.

Li Pai Long was a famous action star before. He then suddenly and mysteriously died while shooting his thirteenth (13th) movie. PaiLong remebering the past went against Jun but Yoh stopped him, then PaiLong became very good friends with Jun.

The Lee's well here's what I think... The Lee's are one of my favorite characters... they are sooo funny and waay pretty! (HAHA) Some may wonder how'd they get into the tournament... and they like doing things the easy way... and they do find a way. But things dont work out as they planned them to be.
Millie- well, Millie is this little girl, she has a strong gun and complains a lot! And she has a huge crush on Lyserg Diethel.
Lily- Is the smartest of the Lee's, when she does her spirit control she can see views or object, images... that cannot be seen through a normal persons vision...
Ellie- Ellie, well she's there when you need her... I think she's Millie's sister, I'm not so sure... her french ails are way awsome but she's pretty dumb!
Sally- well... Sally's the strongest of the Lee's... she's pretty normal except for the fact that destruction makes her happy and that she cant control herself...
Sharona- is the one who's not a Lee... she (quoting Mille) is 'breaking up the rythm'... well,,, she speaks in French, I mean french words come out of her mouth and she's the groups leader and I'd have to say least liked!

Jun is this tall beautiful green haired spirit daoshi. Yoh along with Morty Anna and Amidamaru first meet Jun outside the cinema, after watching Li Pai Long's movie, special screening after 17 years of his death. Jun attacks Yoh and friends because she wanted to get Amidamaru for her brother, Len. She sen a lot of zombies to defeat Yoh but it went the other way around. She then released the strongest corpse of them all. Yoh and Morty in shock saw it was the great Li Pai Long, Pai Long had a daoshi control talisman attached on him then Yoh finally free's PaiLong. But remebering what happened to himself, he aims for Jun, the reason for his death was so that Jun would get PaiLong. At the beginning Jun is this bad girl after Yoh saves her from PaiLong's attack, Jun had a change of heart. Throughout the show she began to see things through Yoh's eyes. Jun also as a kid was taught like Len, she was also raised by En Tao, so after meeting Yoh she changed and became this good girl who helped Len in the time he needed help defeating his Uncle. Jun is also very very very protective of Len and her spirit guardian is non other than the great Li Pai Long.

Orona wanted to save the whole world with the wind of laughter, because laughter is what erases the darkness out of the heart. When Orona died, he passed on his will to chocolove, and that is his ultimate dream and also got his primary spirit Mic from him. Yoh and the others first meet chocolove in the begining of the Shaman Fight where he told them about the 3 people to a group in the Shaman Fight. He joins up with Ren and HoroHoro in team "The Ren" for the Shaman Fight. He is latter killed by Redsebs Golom for killing his dad when he was in Shaft. He goes to hell where he accuires Pascal Avaf, his second primary spirit. Ryu then Asks Sati (the buddist group leader) to bring chocolove back, and she does but with the wish of chocolove, he became blind to repent his sins that he had made in the past.
