Today I was watching a tv documentary about the Chernobyl Accident! Recently there have been photos posted on Li.ru of the ghosttown where the families lived. It is all so sad and moving.

Later it occurred to me, after mentioning it to someone in Kiev who was only born in 1986, that most of you who read me were either very young children or not born yet when that reactor blew up!!

It makes me think how much the world has changed in these few years and how we depend on the youth of today not to make the same mistakes we made in my generation.

We have only one small planet. The resources of this planet will not last forever. We need alternative fuels, alternative hopes and dreams, alternative plans for a united world that will sustain life on this planet.

Let us hope that inteligence will prevail. It is your world... make the most of your life and the challenges that lie ahead. You be the one who changes the world. Be wise!! Be a friend!!!
