Durham is a beautiful city in the North east of England which i went to visit at the end of March. It was my first visit to the city and i was amazed at how beautiful it was and took quite a few pictures.



Im going to post most of the photo's i have, so i may not be able to carry on this thread after the first few posts. This is the first thread i have started and i took these pictures with a rather average camera so forgive me for the pictures that may be a tad blurry . I will be getting a new camera soon and will use that for a new Liverpool thread i will start in a few months. So in a way im using this thread as a tester :P

Liverpool is a great city, full of vibrancy and architectural diversity. I created this thread to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the Royal Liver Building and the associated celebration on the waterfont. Liverpool has been my nearest major city for just over 18 years and i intend to show you some of the beautiful hidden streets that a tourist may pass as well as showcasing some of the city's well known spots and buildings. Commercial Centre



What most consider the 'centre' of Glasgow. Laid on a grid-iron pattern and populated mainly with Victorian 19th century architecture, it is largely a retail area. For this thread's sake I'm going to say it mainly lies between Hope Street to the west, Buchanan Street to the east, the River Clyde to the south and Killermont/Renfrew Street to the north. (these were taken around February/March)

Last August i went to Liège for a daytrip. Liège is the fourth city of Belgium and have approx. 190.000 inhabtitants (600.000 inhabitants. incl. suburbs). The most pictures are taken in and near the city-center, from the top of the hill (Citadelle) but some pictures i took in the suburbs. I hope you enjoy!
