Yesterday I've decided to watch the movie. And realized that there are neither codecs, nor normal player. So today is the day for installation of the codecs.

First open file from the console:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Then add there following strings (or make sure they are there)

deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu intrepid universe multiverse
deb-src http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu intrepid universe multiverse

Then update the system:
sudo apt-get update

Then install video player:
sudo apt-get install mplayer

You can also install smplayer
sudo apt-get install smplayer
sudo apt-get install smplayer-themes

sudo wget http://www.medibuntu.org/sources.list.d/intrepid.list --output-document=/etc/apt/sources.list.d/medibuntu.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install medibuntu-keyring
sudo apt-get update


Important! Codecs themselves


sudo apt-get install w32codecs libdvdcss2

or

sudo apt-get install w64codecs libdvdcss2

depending on your OS version

Also you can install the exstension for Firefox:
sudo apt-get install mozilla-mplayer

After that open ~/.smplayer/smplayer.ini and swap
vo=xv to vo=x11 to make video to play. Without this replacement only sound will play.

I have done automatic mount for ntfs volume at last. I can't believe it. The problem was just that I should have specified /dev/sda, not uuid
The string should look as following:

/dev/sda2 /media/data ntfs-3g defaults,locale="ru_RU.UTF-8" 0 1

Also I have broken videoadapter settings trying to help pal on ubuntu-ru yesterday.
Friend of mine advices to store xorg file from here: /etc/X11/xorg.conf

I've got great idea to get wi-fi access point. LAN cable is to short to work at PC on kitchen. Also I'm tired of cables. I can't wait setting up the system ) But i need to get AP first.
