Андрей и Ольга Дугины - русские художники, известные во всем мире, кроме России. Сейчас их имена пишутся так - Olga Dugina, Andrej Dugin, иногда в связке с Мадонной, Колобком, Гарри Поттером и узником Азкабана.
А все начиналось так…
«Заказы почти не поступали, картины не продавались… мать приносила еду в баночках, отец ворчал - негоже, мол, совершеннолетнему долдону сидеть на родительской шее. Халтурить непрактичный сынок не умел, а работал до неприличия долго. Прежде чем начать иллюстрировать «Вечера на хуторе…», он взял надувную лодку, жену, палатку, и за три недели путешествий объехал все места, о которых писал Гоголь, - от Миргорода до Кременчуга. Супруги дни напролет фотографировали соломенные крыши, жителей, украинские подворья… Они поставили перед собой сверхзадачу: сделать книгу так, как она того заслуживает. Замысел был прекрасен, но денег на жизнь катастрофически не хватало»… Дугиным несомненно повезло, их-то как раз заметили и оценили. Немцы, итальянцы, англичане, японцы, Мадонна, в конце концов… все, кроме русских… Об интересе к своей персоне Андрей узнал совершенно случайно, от приятеля. У него были все основания послать гребаных работодателей к черту и уехать в Штутгарт, оформлять немецкого Колобка… Он и жена до сих пор там - сидят дома, работают по 14 часов в день, почти не общаясь с внешним миром. Немецкая жизнь течет параллельно, едва касаясь художников. На оформление одной книги уходят годы - три на «Перья дракона», два с половиной на «Абди…», семь лет на «Храброго портняжку», а гоголевские «Вечера…» до сих пор не закончены. Геннадий Спирин. Иллюстрации к сказкам
Геннадий Константинович Спирин (25 декабря 1948 г.) - Спирин, родился в Орехово-Зуево, учился в Московской Художественной Школе при Академии Искусств, затем в университетe имени Строганова. За эти годы он развил свой собственный, уникальный стиль, объединяющий русскую художественную технику с традициями Ренессанса. Его работы были признаны и отмечены массой наград, на данный момент Спирин один из лучших художников-иллюстраторов. В настоящие время Геннадий Спирин проживает в США. Сайт Сайт
