Manuel Robbe, French etcher, illustrator and painter, was born in Paris in 1872. By the turn of the century he had become a master of the techniques of etching and aquatint, exhibiting at the Salon of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts in 1898 and earning a Bronze Medal at the Exposition Universelle in Paris in 1900. Robbe excelled at genre scenes featuring women of the “Belle Époque” in a variety of costumes and social settings. Many of Robbe’s color aquatints were innovative in their use of the à la poupée technique, in which several different colors are printed from the same plate. In this approach to printmaking paint is applied directly to the plate before each impression is made, and thus each print is unique in its coloring and tonal qualities. Manuel Robbe created more than 200 etchings, in addition to numerous posters and illustrations, and is regarded as an important chronicler of Belle Époque society.

Ну а дальше… если зрители горячо аплодируют и просят исполнить на бис, то в этом случае все зависит от моих легких и ног Марианы», - говорит Себастьян.
Головокружительная техника (многие элементы и шаги, исполняемые Себастьяном и Марианной можно по праву назвать авторскими), умение обыграть любую музыку так, что у зрителей только дух захватывает, необыкновенный контакт в паре и темперамент – Арсе и Монтес нужно видеть «вживую».
Несмотря на молодость, Мариана и Себастьян успели зарекомендовать себя не только как прекрасные танцоры, но и как талантливые преподаватели: они прекрасно адаптируются к любой аудитории и как никто другой умеют вдохновить своих учеников на дальнейшую работу. Работают они и в качестве хореографов-постановщиков, участвуют в телепередачах и кинопроектах. Себастьян, кроме того, является художественным директором Парижского танго-конгресса – одного из самых значительных и массовых фестивалей в мире.
Себастьян Арсе
В танго пришел в восьмилетнем возрасте – и остался навсегда. Одаренный от природы танцор, он быстро овладел техникой танго и милонги и в дальнейшем танцевал в танго-спектаклях на площадках самых престижных аргентинских театров. На становление Арсе как тангеро большое влияние оказали и другие танцевальные направления - джаз, чечетка, различные элементы которых Себастьян успешно привнес в танго.
С 2001 Себастьян Арсе постоянно живет в Париже, где основал свою собственную танцевальную труппу All That Tango, с успехом выступавшую по всей Европе.

Мариана Монтес
Свой танцевальный путь Мариана начала с аргентинского фольклора: она обучалась в Национальной школе фольклора и танцевала в балете Salta, одном из самых известных в Аргентине. Познакомившись с танго, Мариана поняла, что ее дальнейшая судьба принадлежит только этому танцу.
Грациозная от природы, Мариана быстро превратилась в одну из самых заметных и ярких танцовщиц в танго. Ее танец отличает не только безупречное техническое мастерство, но и безусловная красота и элегантность движений, отточенность жестов.

Arsen Kurbanov was born in Makhachkala, republic of Dagestan, in the USSR. His mother and father were artists as is his brother. In 1988, Kurbanov completed his education at the Jamal Dagestan Art College, receiving a red diploma of scholastic excellence. He was immediately accepted into one of the most prestigious art academies in the world – the Repin Institute of the St. Petersburg Academy of Art. After graduating in 1994, Kurbanov exhibited his final artwork to the graduation committee and was accepted into the “Union of Russian Artists.”
Kurbanov combines the techniques of the Old Masters (particularly Pieter de Hooch and Vermeer) with a contemporary, personal sense of imagery. Biblical and historical references appear alongside modern elements in his paintings, introducing a feeling of mystery. While Kurbanov’s portraits represent precise, almost photographic likenesses of his sitters, they are also created as compositions in their own right.
Since graduation, Kurbanov has been painting in Russia and abroad. He has participated in Artists’ Union exhibitions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Makhachkala. His work has also been exhibited in Germany, the United States, China, Holland, Norway and Finland. In 1997 he won the exhibition/competition My Russia…My World, at the United Nations information center in Moscow. Kurbanov currently lives in St. Petersburg and paints full time.

Has ended the Academy of Fine Arts, studio headed by V.V.Sokolov. His teachers were Kirillova L.N., Belov A.V., Govorkov I.V., Mogilevtsev V.A., Rudnev V.F., Sokolov V.V., and, certainly, father of artist, the known Petersburg artist - Datsouk Wladimir.

Jeffrey Catherine Jones (born 1944 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American artist whose work is best known from the late 1960s through 2000s. She provided over 150 covers for many different types of books through 1976, as well as venturing into fine art during and after this time. World renowned illustration artist Frank Frazetta has said Jeffrey Jones is the greatest living painter.
Kyle Polzin was born in Cuero, Texas in 1974. At a young age, his family moved to Victoria, Texas where he grew up working closely with his father to develop his artistic skills. Craftsmanship is not uncommon in the Polzin family. Kyle’s father is a gifted artist and both of his grandfathers were skilled craftsmen. They were also serious outdoorsmen. During his childhood, Kyle spent countless days on the Texas coast near Port O'Connor fishing the bays and the surf with his family, and made regular trips to his grandparents to explore the countryside near Cuero. He attended public schools all the while, graduating from Victoria High School.
In 1992 Kyle entered Victoria College and began his formal training in the fine arts, with emphasis in oil painting under the instruction of Larry Shook. After graduating from college, he had numerous opportunities to continue his artistic learning experience. In 1996 he participated in instructional sessions under the master painter, Dalhart Windberg. This highly motivational learning experience helped to launch Kyle’s career in Fine Art.
In November 2007, Southwest Gallery hosted his first major one-man show, which featured twenty-seven original works by the artist. Due to the high interest in the show, the paintings were available for purchase by draw only. The show was an overwhelming success. All twenty-seven pieces sold on opening night.
