Это туристический чалк, наложенный на карту Вадензея, по которому и ходят такие вот старинные парусники, построенные 100 и более лет тому назад. Вадензей -коварное море. Без карты и расписания приливов-отливов отправляться в Ваддензей нельзя. Во время прилива все море кажется одной сплошной массой воды, но на самом деле море неглубокое, и дно неровное, где-то глубина достигает 3-х метров, а где-то суша едва прикрыта водой. Поэтому идти можно только по обозначенному фарватеру, в некоторых местах не отклоняясь не на метр ни вправо, ни влево. Где-то можно немного срезать, но этих мест не так уж и много, учитывая еще и то, что Вадензей - природный заповедник. И многие территории там закрыты для посещения. Чтобы не тревожить птиц, весной и осенью тех, которые летящих с севера на юг, и с юга на север и используют Вадензей как промежуточную стоянку, чтобы отдохнуть и подзаправиться. А летом – тех, что прилетают сюда высиживать птенцов. И для моржей. Ведь таких спокойных мест осталось на Земле не так уж и много…
