CALGARY (September 7, 2011) – “It’s with heavy hearts that we mourn the tragic loss of another member of the Flames Family today and everyone who lost their lives in this morning’s plane crash in western Russia. Brad was a true representative of the Flames organization. His leadership, hard work, character and love for his family, teammates, his community and the game of hockey were evident in his daily life. Our thoughts and prayers are with Brad and his family and the families of all those who lost their loved ones in this terrible accident.”

“It is with great sadness that we learn of the sudden passing of Pavol Demitra and his colleagues of the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl hockey club today. Pavol was dedicated and passionate about his young family and the game of hockey. Pavol was a valued teammate and member of our organization and will be sorely missed. We send our deepest condolences to the entire Demitra family and their friends so affected by this tragedy.”

Devils President/CEO/GM Lou Lamoriello on Wednesday released a statement regarding the Lokomotiv Yaroslavl plane crash:
"Nothing could prepare the hockey community for the devastating news it received today. The tragic plane crash involving Lokomotiv Yaroslavl of the Kontinental Hockey League has left all of us beyond words.
I had the pleasure of knowing several members of the team, plus the entire coaching staff. In particular, Alexander Vasyunov, who played for us last season, was an outstanding young man and a gifted athlete. Captain Karel Rachunek skated for us in 2007-08. Both were members of the Devils family.
On behalf of the entire Devils organization, our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of the entire Lokomotiv club."

The Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club released the following statement regarding this morning’s plane crash carrying the Lokomotiv KHL hockey team.
“The entire Colorado Avalanche organization is deeply saddened by this morning’s horrific news regarding the Kontinental Hockey League’s Lokomotiv Yaroslavl,” said President Pierre Lacroix.
“Moreover, we are all in a state of shock regarding the deaths of former Avalanche defensemen Karlis Skrastins and Ruslan Salei. Our thoughts and prayers go out to their families as well as those involved in this devastating incident.”
“I am still in disbelief about today’s tragic news,” said Executive Advisor/Alternate Governor Joe Sakic. “Both Karlis and Ruslan were unbelievable individuals and great teammates. They will be sorely missed. My condolences go out to their families and all those affected in this tragedy.”

Following the tragic plane crash of the Kontinental Hockey League's Lokomotiv in Yaroslavl, Russia that claimed the life of former Flyers defenseman Brad McCrimmon as well as the entire team roster, Comcast-Spectacor Chairman and Flyers founder Ed Snider released the following statement:
“I’m personally saddened to hear of the tragic death of one of our former players, Brad McCrimmon, and his team. Brad was one of the toughest defensemen to ever wear the orange and black. Падают самолеты, горят рейсовые автобусы, статистика только автомобильная какая? 30-35тыс. в год по смертности? пару недель назад под ебургом 10 работяг в пазике живьем погорело, выжившие инвалиды на всю жизнь, у них не обеспеченные семьи остались, а тут ща соплей разведут на месяц и еще средства на помощь семьям миллионеров собирать начнут, вывеску повесили 10 лет по Перхуну, а 3 года по срочникам в ЮО это херня? 10-15 лет по срочникам с другой войны? Вывели спортсменов в героев, идиотизм.

Red_right_wing, пробки - это пробки. Но на взлетную полосу ставить борта. Это я даже не знаю с чем сравнить. Все подъезды к больнице машинами заставить что ли. И то там лишние метры пробежать можно. Не знаю.Нет аналогий такой наглости.

Red_right_wing, я, в принципе, не особо удивлюсь. Но такого всё же не ждал. Это ИМХО всё же новый уровень "наглости".

Всё просто до безобразия.
Сначала воруют и делят государственную собственность.
Потом начинают выжимать из техники соки, экономя на всём, кроме заноса денег чиновникам за разрешительные подписи.
А когда персонал маленького аэропорта находится в непривычной стрессовой ситуации из-за наплыва самолётов "с синими ведёрками", то вероятность беды возрастает.
Конкретную причину и стрелочника, конечно, найдут. Кто-то не проверил качество топлива , например, или лётчик принял неверное решение взлетать.

Может и рано ещё об этом говорить, но по-моему, самое время вспомнить о Быкове.
Вуйтек слаб здоровьем и в Ярик больше не поедет, а вот БиЗы...
Игроков для новой команды наберут, я думаю. Многие бывшие ярославцы уже выразили желание играть этот сезон. Да и молодёжь есть!
Чёрт, прям ситуация безвыходная для лиги! Я не знаю, что бы даже решил на их месте! Какое решение не прими, оно будет спорным. А делать что-то надо и делать надо быстро!
