100 000 долларов! Именно столько заплатили на благотворительном аукционе организации Keep A Child Alive (принадлежащей Алише Киз) за первый проданный в Нью-Йорке телефонный аппарат компании Apple.


Волонтеры организации Keep A Child Alive пришли к нью-йоркскому магазину Apple Store SoHo на Prince Street за четыре дня до начала продаж iPhone и заняли очередь, чтобы первыми купить телефон и выставить его на благотворительный аукцион в помощь африканским детям, инфицированным СПИДом. 29 июня в 6 часов утра первый iPhone (по крайней мере, в этом магазине) купил для организации известный режиссер и актер Спайк Ли, а второй забрал себе ;).


Сам телефон, две Bluetooth-гарнитуры Jawbone, два авиабилета до Нью-Йорка (и обратно) и два VIP-приглашения на благотворительный концерт под названием Black Ball с участием Боно и Алиши Киз были выставлены на аукцион eBay и проданы за 100 тысяч долларов.
