Знаменитый хип-хоп продюсер Тимбаланд сделает перерыв в конвейерном производстве хитов для звезд американской поп-сцены и займется собственной исполнительской карьерой. 27 мая выходит в свет сольный альбом Тимоти Мозли (настоящее имя продюсера), получивший название «Shock Value».

«Глубину шока» испытают разве что неподготовленные уши, но мы сделаем все возможное, чтобы таковых не наблюдалось. Итак, в процессе работы над диском Тимбаланду помогала следующая пестрая компания: Нелли Фуртадо и Джастин Тимберлейк, Jay-Z и Сноп Догг, Элтон Джон  и The Hives, участники Fall Out Boy и She Wants Revenge - и это только вершки. Буквально на днях танцевальная группа Pussycat Dolls объявила набор. Желающие попасть в этот известный коллектив проходят достаточно жесткий кастинг. И только лишь Бритни не участвует в отборе. Ее желание принимать в этом участие было встречено незамедлительным согласием.

Робин Антин высказала свое мнение касательно принятия Бритни Спирс (Britney Spears): "Мы взволнованы, что Бритни согласилась вступить в ряды Pussycat Dolls. Она столь талантлива, что ее участие в наших шоу выведет нас на несколько иной уровень. К тому же, думаю, не надо рассказывать о чудодейственном влиянии танцев на израненную душу. Бритни, как никто другой, сможет немного отвлечься и восстановить силы. Положительные эмоции от танцев – это то, что ей сейчас нужно!"

Pussycat Dolls были созданы в 1995 году хореографом Робин Антин (Robin Antin). Поначалу PCD были чем-то вроде современного кабаре и устраивали танцевальные шоу в престижных заведениях Лос-Анджелеса.
