Destine. Part 19. 29-05-2007 23:06

"You're stayin' for the night, arentcha?" asked Frankie after everyone left.
"Yap. All my stuff is here."
"She will sleep in my room," Destine told his brother.
"Well, g'night you two!"
Critter walked into his room, and I followed Destine.
"Listen," I said when Destine locked the door. "Why did ya open up to me, although you barely knew me?"
"Because I wanted you to be my friend," he explained. "I liked you at the first sight, and I trust you. Am I wrong?"
"You're absolutely right. Now, where would I sleep?"
"Over here," he pointed to his bed, "and so will I. Good?"
I pressed his hands in thankfulness. However, I still barely had any control of my stinger, but he just laughed. "I don't feel anything, except for your will."
We both fell down on the bed...

The next morning Destine took me to the airport. I said goodbye to everyone, and we flew away together. We were cleaving the air, our hair was loosing on the wind, and the view below was fantastic. We held our hands and spoke about nothing, and it was luck for me. Before I got aboard, I said, "I'll call you as soon as I see Orion."
"Good luck, Jumper," he said to me smiling. "Or should I say - Sophia. Thanks for everything. I hope we'll see again."
"Good luck, Robert," I said back. "I'll be looking forward to meet you again."

It was helluva late when I got to Melbourne. When I caught a bus to Warburton, the stars had awreddy filled the sky. I looked for my favorite constellation and I found it. The Great Hunter was watching me, shining at me, and reminding me all the good times I had during my trip to America. I recalled watching stars with Destine, speaking of them to Jay; I recalled getting ghost powers and promise to myself never open up to anyone; I remembered our joyrides with Page and a night trip to LA with Critter; I thought about unforgettable sky ride; I found in my memory meeting Danneh, and many other awesome and beautiful things that happened to me.
My mobile phone was always with me, but switched off. I turned it on and called Destine.
"Are you sleeping now?" I asked. "I promised you to call as long as I..."
"See Orion?"
"Yeah. I just saw it. It reminded me of you."
"Thanks. Is ev'rything fine?"
"Yeah. It's good to be back home. Sorry, I can speak no longer."
"Okay, hope to hear you soon! Bye!"
That was all I needed to feel happy. I knew someone was waiting for me far, far away, and I also knew that my parents, brothers, and sisters were waiting for me some hundred miles away, and I was going to meet them next morning. And then I started dreaming of time when I would meet my new and good American friend, my destiny, my one and only Robert Madison.

Destine. Part 18. 28-05-2007 22:22

The evening was warm and light, with no clouds in the sky; light music was playing, we were sitting in an open-windowed room, exhausted but excited. There were only six of us: Jessie, Jay, Critter, Page, me, and Destine.
“That was a terrific party,” I said. “Thanks for the ride, Frank.”
“Not at all,” Critter answered.
“And thanks for the invitation, Robert.”
“Destine,” he replied. “Call me Destine as usual.”
“What’s the hell with your name?”
“Listen everyone, and especially you, Frank,” he said loudly. We stared at him with attention. “We’re here to celebrate 23 years since the day when Robert Madison was born. But for now, he is dead.”
“Half dead,” I added.
“Sure, LA people mind me dead and LB citizens know me alive. Fifty-five days had flown since my eighteenth birthday, and the things had changed, and a new I had been born. You all noticed that I have changed, and you advised me a new nickname which later became my new real name. Frankie, you didn’t know all of that, right?”
Critter was looking at him in disbelieve.
“I can walk through walls, disappear, and fly,” Destine showed it all. “It may be unreal, but believe your eyes as they did.”
“We did,” whispered Jay.
I was counting days that moment and then said, “Listen, you shared your energy with me when I was eighteen years and fifty-five days old! Isn’t it strange?”
“It’s your destiny, Sophia,” Jay smiled to me.
Destine looked at me. “Is that your name?”
“Yes,” I said. “Let me introduce myself, I’m Sophia Bellatrix Warakurna. Weird name, ha?”
“Yeah…”
“My papa is interested in astrology. When my sister Hazel was born, he first wanted to add a ‘Saiph’name to her, but mom was against this. So she got ‘Saiph’ as her middle name. Hazel Saiph Warakurna!”
“God,” Page said, “that’s cool!”
“My other sisters are Cree Betelgeuse, Rachel Rigel, and Paula Mintaka. Isn’t that sweet, ha? My two brothers are named Albert Alnilam and Isaac Alnitak. Cool, right?”
No one could even say a word.
“Gee,” I finally heard Jessie’s voice. “The Orion family!”
“Got it right,” said I. “We all wanna change our last names to ‘Orion’ – it’s much more easy than ‘Warakurna’.”
“Great story,” Jessie replied.
“We just heard two great stories,” Critter said. “I can’t believe my brother is involved in one of them!”
“So, Destine, will we pull together after 55 days?” Page asked.
“Sure,” Destine replied. “That’s the last time I spend my birthday on this day.”
“Well,” I said, “for the last time – happy birthday, Robert!”
“Thanks, Sophia. And now is the time for one last dance! Shall we do it in the air?”
“Sure! Let’s pull up!”
We danced above our friends’ heads, and that was a wonderful feeling. I wished this would last forever, but it was quite late, and I had to leave the next day.

Destine. Part 17. 27-05-2007 11:46

I felt deja vu right after waking up. Someone was carrying me down in his arms. I smiled thinking that it was Destine, but when I opened my eyes I understood that it wasn't him. I turned my head to look.
"Danneh!" I said happily.
"Yeah. Mornin', sleepin' beauty. You were about to freeze. Don't take too high."
"Too high to fly?"
"Right."
He put me on the solid ground and then said:
"I had a speech with Destine two days ago."
"I know," I replied.
"He told you?"
"No, I saw you two on the beach. I didn't hear anything. Did he tell his story?"
Then, I heard the same things that Destine said to me, but without any names.
"Now, I'm going to Oregon," Danneh said after a while.
"And I'm going back to Australia next week."
"So good luck!"
"Good bye, Danneh," I said.
He waved his hand and left. I dropped a sigh after him. That was a fan girl’s dream come true, I spoke to that one and only Danneh Phantom twice, and three times I saw him alive. Will he visit Australia once? Ah, who cares?
I went to LA and bought a plane ticket to Melbourne. Now I really was leaving right after Destine's birthday party. I wondered was it the day when Robert Madison was born or the day when he became Destine.
The party was about to start in less than three days.

Destine. Part 16. 26-05-2007 22:48

Something unexpected happened the next moment. The door opened with crash and Destine broke in. Everyone stared at him: Jessie, Jay, Tommy and I with surprise, and the police men in disbelieve.
"You!" I smiled.
"Destine!" Jay winked.
"Madison!" Page explained.
"Robbie!" Jessie waved.
"That can't be right!" Stanley shouted.
We said all these phrases at once. Then, it was quiet for a few seconds. Destine looked at us attentively and then wondered, "Am I interrupting your chat?"
"Robert Madison!" Stanley cried again. "That's not possible! You can't be alive! I was the witness of the explosion! You and your brother were burnt!"
"I escaped," Destine said calmly.
"How???"
"I don't know," he winked. "I still can't believe that I'm alive. Nice to see you again, Stanley. Why did you move here?"
"I wanted to live in a peaceful place. But I don't believe my eyes... Is that really you?"
"You can be sure of it."
Douglas came to oneself at last.
"So, why are you here, Mr. Madison?"
Destine came closer. "I'm here as a witness. Did you accuse Thomas Page of joyriding? So, he was riding my Brother Frank's bike several times. I've lent it while Frank wasn't at home."

"Thanks for saving me, pal," Tommy said after a while.
"Not at all, friend," Destine answered. "And now I have to get ready for the party. Willya all come?"
"Sure!" we said at once.
"So, see you in four days!"
I still had questions to find out, so I followed Destine.
"What?" he asked.
"I wanted to know if you're really alive."
"Ya wanna know the truth? Let's take off."
We hid in the leaves of one high tree.
"So, I'm telling you the truth. But first you please answer to my question. D'ja see 'Father Ghost' film?"
"About a drowned man's phantom? Sure. Is your story the same?"
"Not really. I survived because I had put the deflector on. That unfixed device we were working on was able to kill the half of me, but not more. So here I am, half a man, half a ghost. Just like Danneh."
"How long ago had it happened?"
"Five years."
"So why everyone proclaimed you dead?"
"I went invisible and escaped from there. They considered me dead in LA, but the citizens of LB saw me alive. Poor Stanley, he had mind me dead too."
"Aren't you sad about your brother?"
"Matthew? Well, I remember him, but I am not really sad. I'm half ghost, you know. So here I am, careful, reserved and smart. Not able to love or to hate, but I still can like or dislike."
I was completely knocked out.
Destine jumped from the tree. I followed him. We walked along the beach keeping silent. I didn't know what to say, and he didn't want to say anything.
The summer sun drowned in the sea. Many small dots filled the sky.
"See Orion?" he asked.
I looked for my favorite constellation, but I couldn't find it.
"It's summer," he said to me. "You can see it in Australia now."
Now I really felt like saying something important to him. But he prevented this.
"And now I have to bed. I'm leaving. See you!"
"Good night, Robert," I whispered.
"Sleep tight..." he said back and left.
I felt like sleeping on the clouds. I took off and ended up floating in the starry sky.

Destine. Part 15. 26-05-2007 21:02

"How many times have I tell you, she was involved in this, but she didn't know it was joyride! I had been telling her that I borrowed bikes from my friends!"
I didn't say a word.
"We have to let go of her," one police man said to other one. "She is not involved, she's fewer than twenty-one and she is a foreigner. So come on."
"Okay now. You may go," they said to me.
I dropped a glance on Tommy and moved towards the exit.
"So, Mr. Page, who knew about your ridings?"
"Just my best friends," he replied. "Madison, Dawn, and Gillmor."
"Ah, the young company that is often seen with you."
"Yeah."
"Bring them here, Stanley."
I left the office.

Later, sitting outside and waiting for Tommy, I saw the police car which brought Jessie and Jay.
"Ah, Australian, you're still here!" said one of the police men. "It's good that you're still here. Please come with us."
We entered the room where Tommy used to be.
"Here they are, Mr. Douglas."
"Two of them?"
"Yes. Jemima Gillmor and Jessie Dawn. We didn't bring Frank Madison because he has just returned from New Orleans where he had lived for two years. He couldn't be involved in these joyrides."
"Wrong directions, Mr. Page?"
"I didn't speak about Frank," Page shouted, "I meant his younger brother!"
"What? Frank Madison has no younger brother!" Stanley yelled.
"He has! Tell them, Sophia!"
I kept my mouth closed.
Seriously, who knew what the heck Destine was? I never spoke about him with Critter. And what would have been if I did? Maybe Critter would have wondered where the hell I heard about his unexciting brother. Who knows? I wasn't sure of anything, so I kept silent.
"Listen," Stanley said. "There were three Madison brothers: Frank, Matthew and Robert. Two of them died some years ago in the lab accident in Los Angeles where they used to live. Their parents weren't being alive. Robert and Matthew had tried to fix some technical devices in their lab, but they had failed. I had been there that time, so I remember they both died. I moved here only two months ago, so I never met Frank, I only know that he had been in Louisiana."
I didn't understand anything.
I had a lot of questions. Who, for Crissake, was Destine? Was he an escaped Madison or somebody else? If Madison, then Robert or Matthew? Did Critter know he had escaped? Did our friends know about the accident? Or he had really died and Destine I know is just a phantom of him?
"Liar!" Douglas yelled at Page.
"Madman," said the other man.
"Someone here is nuts," Jessie pronounced. "But who?"

Destine. Part 14. 26-05-2007 17:22

So, here I go. Five days from now. I finally realized that I can't imagine my life without Destine, and the fact he gave me some unique abilities wasn't the reason I thought so. He taught me to understand many things that would help me in my life. What is more, I really fell for him, and I think it was love. Nobody could win my heart, neither Page nor Critter; I liked them just as friends. Just like The Midnight Oil sing, "we carry in our hearts a true country, and that cannot be stolen".
He was going to be twenty-three and I was only eighteen. The difference was five years, not too much for me or anyone else.
I remembered all what he had said to me. All the time we spent together: our holidays on the Great Barrier Reef, admiring the stars of Warburton, seeing Orion, traveling to the Rocky Mountains. I recalled how he had said that most of the unique people are lonely. He has often repeated: “Love changes, changes ev’rything, love makes you fly and breaks your wings”. That wasn’t his idea, although it was his opinion. He didn’t keep his ghost powers in secret, but he didn’t say about them to anyone until he trusted that person.
He knew all about Page’s will to do something extreme like joyriding, Jay’s seeking for a man and my inner feelings. He could even foresee some things that were about to happen and maybe that’s why he’s got his nickname. That wasn’t strange.
But there were many things I wanted to figure out. What was his real name? Did he have any more brothers and sisters? Where had his parents gone? Why did he live in a small bungalow together with his big bro? Did he love someone? Was he a part human, part ghost, or full ghost, or human with ghost powers? I lost my mind thinking of that. He didn’t like to speak about himself. The only things that I was able to know are that he was 22 years old for now and his last name was Madison. I knew nothing else.
Maybe I had to talk about him with Tommy or Jay? Why haven’t I done that before? Because I didn’t want to interrupt his social life, am I right?
Here we go. I sat down in the living room waiting for Tommy. He was supposed to be back home in no time. Finally, he walked in, but in a half of minute two guys in the uniform broke in shouting “Thomas Page, you’re under arrest!”
Then, looking at me, added: “You too.”

Destine. Part 13. 25-05-2007 18:58

The early next morning we returned to LB, said goodbye, and I walked home. I felt like not seeing Critter again. But I didn't want to see Tommy either. So, I went to search for where from to call my parents.
I found a post office and dropped a call to Warburton from there. My folks wanted me home. I promised to be back as soon as possible. "Home sweet home," I thought. "I believe the stars of Warburton are waiting for me." That was the song of my favorite band, The Midnight Oil. The original text was "I couldn't believe the stars of Warburton were waiting for me".
I walked towards the ocean. Guess whom I met on the beach? You never will! Danneh! He was sitting and speaking to Destine. Well, he did as he had said. Here we go.
I went invisible and slowly got close to them, fearing that Danneh's sense will work. Although nothing happened. Oh sure, I wasn't a ghost, just a flying invisible electric blast. They stood up as I came near.
"Okay, bye now, see ya!" Danneh said to Destine.
"Looking forward for this," he replied.
Danneh took off and disappeared. I jumped to his place, right in front of Destine, and went visible. He was shocked.
"What? You? Howja get this power?"
"Danneh shared. We had met a month ago in Illinois. Didn't he tell you?"
"No. He just said that he had learnt to share his energy, thanks to some good people. So you were that good guy?"
"Yeah, that was me. How's your going?"
"Fine. Hey, wuddya get something for you at Jessie's?"
"For me? Thanks. Where did he go?"
"He must be at home now. C'mon, take it."
"Thanks again. Should I go right now?"
"Sure. See ya."
See me! Oh, goodies! He wanted to see me again!
But what for?

When I found Jessie, he told me that I was invited to Destine's 23rd birthday party. "Why didn't he said it to me? We had a speech."
"I don't know, gal. Maybe he didn't want to say it twice."
"Gee... Thanks, pal. Now I'm going home."
"My regards to Page!"

Destine. Part 12. 24-05-2007 22:54

It was my second month in the USA, and I spent it with Tommy Page living in his house. We spent our free time walking, joyriding, dancing, listening to glam music and swimming in the sea. Once we visited Death Valley, had some trips to LA and one to Yosemite National Park. Strangely, I agreed when he offered me a time, but after getting electric shock from my hand (I touched him to show my agreement) he changed his mind.
I tried not to think about Destine, but I couldn't. Goddam Jessie. I recalled him every time I heard the word "destiny", or "ghost", or "electricity", or something else. Sometimes I had my pillow wet after awakening. I didn't remember any of my dreams, but I knew they were all about him. I never spoke about him with Tommy, neither did he.
Jessie went steady with Jay. The one good thing was that I could see them happy together. Goddam love birds. At least, Jay is occupied.
I could see Tommy with his college friends. Sometimes I had to put an invisible eye on them. Man, I wasn't even hurt when heard Tommy suggesting one of the girls from his college to go steady. That's his right, I was not his girlfriend.
Once coming past Destine's house I noticed his brother Frank polishing his bike. That was some kind of deja vu. I thought I had seen him somewhere. Then I recalled his face on some music forum, a pic was called "Frank Madison the Critter". His nickname was Critter. "Critter," I pronounced thoughtfully. He raised his head and wondered: "Who are you supposed to be?"
"I'm Jumper from Forever Rock Forum, remember?"
"Ha, that Australian glam fan. Nice to meet you here."
We started our chat, and then he suggested me a motorride. When did I refuse? He drove me far far away from Beach, to LA, for the whole night. Wow, it was one wild night blinded by the moonlight, a whiplash in the dead of night, and blinding lights on the Marquee were shining bright! I was in night LA for the first time, and man, we had an awesome night riding the empty streets. Also, we were chatting, and we spoke about everything except for his brother, although I remembered him. But Frank was amazing, and the city was terrific, and I couldn't wish for more.

Destine. Part 11. 23-05-2007 22:56

That was enough for one day.
I went to Jay's for the last time, grabbed my stuff and left the keys. My deal with her was over. Now to win Destine's heart.
I turned on my MP3 player and found The Sweet. I was walking the empty streets, looking at those blinding lights. The song in my earphones was:
"Some things are better left unsaid,
I wanna spend my days in bed.
I'll walk the streets this night,
To be healed by the city lights..."
When I reached Destine's house, he was in his yard staring at the bike. I got closer and said: "Good night! How'sa going?"
"Can't get better," he said. "Frank had left this thing in the backyard, what the hell does it here?"
"One of our friends had a little joyride," I explained.
"I guess who. That's not his first joyride. Let's put it back or Frankie will kill me for that."
"Is he back now?"
"He will be back tomorrow."
We put the bike in the backyard.
"Now tell me please, whutsa stuff is with you?"
"I broke up with Jemima." I really didn't want to call her Jay. But why? She did nothing to me. Maybe I was jealous to see her hanging around with Destine a week before.
"Really? That's great. But you know what?"
"What?"
"I liked to see you two together. Each of you used to stop another from pulling me. I hate to be liked insincerely. She only was fallen for me, but not fallen in love. That's not for long. And you are searching for love but haven't got one in your heart. Or head. You two are driving me mad. Willya now, ha?"
"Jay won't. She's with Jessie now."
"What Jessie? Former pal of mine? The emo-styled one? Good choice. She always used to sympathize him. And what about you? Da ya have the Australian loved one?"
"Never mind."
"So, wanna capture me now?"
"Why not?"
"Because the world is round. I don't see a real love in you. Yet," he added. That gave me hope.
"Yet? Grand. Have I to leave you now?"
"The faster you will, the better I'll feel."
I tried to look calm. "So, may I get my last wish fulfilled?"
"If it’s the last one, then yes."
"Could you lend me your phone for five minutes?"
"Okay, you're welcome."
I dialed Page's number. The mobile was off. I dropped a call on his home phone.
"Hello?"
"Good night, sorry for the time, but canya tell me please if Tommy is at home?"
"He's asleep now. Have I to have him awakened?"

Destine. Part 10. 22-05-2007 22:26

I went invisible, got to Destine's house and left the bike in his yard. Nobody was at home. I flied back thinking where Jay and Jessie could go. While flying, I met Destine and asked him for directions. He told me where they were being at the moment. After thanking him, I said: "Gee, I've almost forgot to thank you for the..." "Pass, that was nothing."
"Listen, da ya have a big bro?" I said a moment later.
"Sure. He's in New Orleans now. Why are you asking?"
"Just wondering. Ha, I've been to Louisiana some days ago!"
"Really? Well, you were absent for five days, I've lost my mind thinking where you could be! You're hot, gal."
"Thanks. Now I'm getting to Jay."
"Luck," he said and left. I continued my way.

Jay and Jessie were sitting in an open air cafe. They didn't even notice my appearance 'cause they paid attention just to each other.
I went invisible, got close to Jay and whispered in her ear: "Destine". Her face reddened. I stepped back.
"Whuts up?" Jessie wondered.
"Somebody said the word..."
"Destine?"
"How you know?"
I appeared and sat next to them. "Hello!"
"Warakurna!" they both said. "Hi! How’s a joyride?"
"Excellent," I replied.
Jay's phone rang and she slipped away for a while.
"Gee, she's hot, "Jessie told me quietly.”Da ya know what she just said? 'Who cares about Destine!' And da ya know what she said before?"
Jay came back. We had a little peaceful speech about nothing. The young girl was throwing slight glances at Jessie, and I noticed that. The heaven ended whet I said: "Listen, can I steal Jay for a moment?"
We moved to the place where no-one could hear us.
"Are you an emo-girl?" I wondered.
"Why the hellya think so?"
"Looks like you fall in love with every single man."
"And you're jealous!"
"I'm not trying to steal Jessie, you know. But if you two sympathize each other, why it's so hard for you to leave Destine alone?"
"You don't know the half of it," she replied. "They're different."
"Destine doesn't like you, neither does Page. You wanna have them both as symbols of your glamour, dontcha? A woman needs a man, one man, if she's not a bitch."
"I didn't select one yet."
"You did awreddy. Jessie is made for you. Da ya think I didn't see anything?"
"Were that you?"
"What was I? Someone who said the word? Sure."
"You were spying on us???"
"Nope. I wasn't and never will. The good thing is that you went red, which means you're not a bitch yet. But you're awreddy an emo."
"Okay now, maybe I am, but you have no rights!"
"You're correct now, Jemima Gillmor. Now get back to your boyfriend. I don't wanna see you again, former friend of mine. You'll never get Destine. Never!"
She turned her back to me and got back to Jessie. I followed her and heard her last words. "Let's move," she said.
I looked at Jessie.
"Bye, Australian goddess!" he shouted. "And remember that 'Destine' is only one letter away from 'Destiny'. And thanks for the girlfriend!"

Destine. Part 9. 21-05-2007 23:22

It really was Page. He looked awesome in his new leather jacket and on the amazing motorbike. Man, this terrific machine knocked me out! I've always dreamt about such a thing.
"Where the hellja get it?" asked Jay admiringly.
"You should ask where the hell he got staff for it," Jessie replied.
"Honestly, it's not mine," said the biker.
"You borrowed it?" Jay's voice sounded different.
"Nope."
"Is this a joyride?" I put a word in.
"Oh, come on!"
"Come on what?" Jay and me said at once.
"Come on join a joyride!"
We kept standing.
"Just kidding!" he laughed. "That's my friend's!"
"You gals go," Jessie suggested. "There's enough place for three! I'll walk."
"I'm not a joyrider!" Jay shouted. "And you don't even have rights, Jimmy Page!"
"My name is not Jimmy. So, will you, Warakurna?"
"Sure!!!"
I put on a helmet and got on that beautiful thing.

"You can teach me, willya?" I asked an hour later.
"You bet. Get on."
Page was helluva good teacher, you know, and driving was easy. "Just like flying", I thought.
"You're going up," Page said.
"Well, thanks to you."
"Let's get back. I have to return the bike."
"Okay, I'll drive."
When we reached Long Beach, he told me he was going to go home, and asked me to drive the bike to Destine's because it belonged to his brother. He apologized for leaving me and wished me luck.
"So that's a joyride, wasn't it?"
"Yap. Don't fear, the big bro is gone now. I wouldn’t have taken that if he were at home."
"So, thanks for the ride, hijacker!"
"Bye, goddess!"
After he disappeared, I thought it would be nice to fly because the sky went black awreddy. I started the engine and eventually took off. God, that was cool! At last, my dream came true, even two of them. I learned how to fly and how to drive a motorcycle. I became a flying biker! A ghost rider! Who would wish for more?

Destine. Part 8. 21-05-2007 19:00

The young guy who said that was two steps behind us, and I didn't like him at the first sight. He was wearing a very emo-like jacket and leather pants. His strange stare didn't work for him. "Man, what a ridiculous punk," I thought.
Jay got up, came to that guy, and pressed his hand. Then, turning to me, explained:
"That's Jessie, former Destine's classmate. How'sa going, Jess?"
"Swell," he said.
I kept sitting. He pressed my hand and asked:
"Australian, right? Whutsa name of yours?"
"Call me Warakurna."
"Nice to meet you, goddess. Is that your real name?"
"It's my last name."
"Gee, it's rare and unique. I heard a song 'Warakurna' performed by The Midnight Oil, what's it about?"
This sonuvabitch wasn't so bad.
"That's about Warakurna Range in Western Australia, Warakurna Roadhouse in Gunbarrel Highway, that's the road from Warburton to Warakurna city. Also, Warakurna was the ancient god of fire. Clear?"
"Sure. You said 'Warakurna' four times."
"It's enough, isn't it?"
We laughed.

Jay looked at us suspiciously.
"D'ja heard what she..."
"Said you have a crush?"
"Yap, on Destine."
"Yeah. Don't pay attention, she's jealous. Oh, da ya hear that?"
"What?" I asked.
"A motor?"
"You're hearing sounds, dude."
"Nope, I'm not hearing, I hear. That's Page. Hey Jay, c'mon!"
Jay joined us, and we ran towards that sound.
