Группа OffRoad была основана в мае 2001 года в Москве. Основали ее, Денис (Дэн) Шешулин - гитара, Иван (Ян) Чумаков – вокал акустическая гитара и Павел Тюбаев - бас. Основная цель музыкантов - создание качественной рок музыки, отличающейся особой мелодичностью, красотой и динамикой исполнения, отвечающей уровню западных стандартов.

Концерты OffRoad являются ярким, тщательно отрепетированным действом. Все участники группы работали в различный проектах как в России так и за рубежом. Все тексты группы на английском языке (вокалист группы Иван (Ян) Чумаков более 5-ти лет прожил в США, в Калифорнии) в основном содержат лирическую тематику.

В 2002 году был записан и выпущен дебютный альбом Make It Trough, в который вошло 11 песен.

В пластинку была включена песня Now Is When I Need Ya, написанная для OffRoad старым другом группы, экс-басистом американских певиц Шерил Кроу и Джоан Осборн, Майклом Чаверзом. Во время работы над альбомом Павел Тюбаев покинул группу, и его место занял Борис (Jora) Широколов, работавший ранее в Оркестре Мещерина. В качестве барабанщика был приглашен Дмитрий (Jack)  Сачко. Группа много концертировала, принимала участие в крупных фестивалях. На радио OffRoad появились впервые в 2002 году на радиостанции "Радио России" с Дмитрием Добрыниным. В 2003 году с Аленой Масленниковой на радио "Голос России". Ротация на радиостанциях Англии и Ирландии песен "OffRoad" продолжается до сих пор.
Осенью 2002 года снимается видеоклип на песню  "QUEEN OF MY HEART"

В середине 2003 года Дмитрий Сачко покидает коллектив и, и его место занимает Денис (Den Jr.) Бородулин. В этом же году бас гитариста Бориса Широколова сменяет Алексей (Kuzmich) Кочнев. Группа продолжает концертировать и принимать участие в крупномасштабных акциях таких как выставка "Музыка-Москва 2004" и др. 23 сентября группа выступает на Marshall Day, посвященном приезду легендарного Джима Маршалла, Джо Линн Тернера и Глена Хьюза в Россию где заслуживает одобрительные отзывы вышеупомянутых грандов.
В конце 2004 года на смену Алексею Кочневу пришел Дмитрий (К.П.) Воробьев, работающий в группе и по сей день. Музыканты почувствовали себя по настоящему сплоченным коллективом и приступили к записи второго альбома.

Во второй альбом - On The Road Again – вышедший в 2005 году, вошло 10 треков. Здесь вы услышите полный микс стилей и, хотя звучание альбома и самой команды стало жестче и отличается от первого релиза, мелодизм, который присущ OffRoad, вы сможете услышать и на этой пластинке. Надеемся, что работа, в которую было вложено столько сил и времени, придется по душе всем любителям хорошего и качественного рока. Альбом издавался на лейбле "Мистерия Звука"
