В колонках играет - Maroon 5 Sunday morning Dj Thasan SundayНастроение сейчас - could be worse if not the musicAfter spending all Saturday playing games and staying in bed I had to wake up really early today, Sunday 25th to finish my packing.
At 8 straight I closed my frond door and started to check the things I had to take.
Violin, bow, scores…check
Concert suit, shirt, tie…check
Computer, cables, phone recharges…check
Underwear, socks, t-shirts…check
Tooth brush, shaving razor, shampoo…check
And the rest doesn’t really matter.
Except the belt which I had on me already
I managed to do this check running down 3 stair cases that leaded me on the street.
At first I thought it was “28 days after” movie then I am part of now since nobody was on the street. Then “Vanilla sky”…
Then I remembered it was SUNDAY! And as many of you may know already nothing is open on Sunday in Italy. Specially in the morning!
After getting to the stating o thought as a vicious flash ran thru my head:
“did I take my passport and permission of staying?”
it would have been just fine without them if not that I have to stay in the hostel and the Spain trip is ahead. Slowly I reached the inside pocket of my coat and breathed out with serenity: the passport was within my pocket. Which I couldn’t say about my permission of staying…I guess I will have to come back on our day off instead of spending it in bed in Piacenza.
But if that permission was my only problem…
As you know Italy is very messy with everything, including trains.
And in my case the train was canceled. So I hardly managed to take the eurostar to Bologna where I changed it for a regional one to piacenza which has just departured from Bologna with 15 minutes delay.
Curious thing is that the distance between Bologna and Piacenza is shorter then between Bologna and Florence.
And yet it took me 1 hour to get from Florence here and will take me 2 hours to get from here to Piacenza. That’s how big difference is between eurostar and regional train in italy.
