Biography:
Cassie was the only one in highschool who didn't went to college. After school she moved to New York in 2004 and modeled to make money. She wanted to persuade her music career. The "Princess of NextSelection", received her title all in accident. The producer, Ryan Leslie, was downtown at club Marquee with R&B music artist Usher and noticed Cassie, a beautiful face in the crowd during this particular night. A few weeks later at P-Diddy's birthday bash in November of 2004, Leslie ran into her once again. Besides her gorgeous appearance being mixed with both Filipino and Black, Leslie saw something extraordinary about her personality. Soon he was introduced to her by P-Diddy's make-up artist, who had worked with her previously at a photoshoot. A little after being introduced to Leslie, Cassie's mother requested that her daughter record her song for her birthday. After approaching him to produce it and not ever being in a studio before, Leslie put together a duet called "Kiss Me". In the end, Cassie's mother was not alone in loving the song, but so was Leslie who played it for Tommy Motolo (Former chairman of Sony, the executive behind J-Lo, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, etc.) Motolo offered Cassie a deal on the spot. Soon, Cassie received a deal with NextSelection to produce her album. Cassie was also being invited to promote a single, "Me & U" in Germany which had already been leaked on the net and a club hit there. After performing for thousands of fans, signing tons of autographs, and taking pictures with Djs, Cassie was now an international celebrity having everyone fall for her beautiful attitude and beautiful personality. Ryan wanted to make an album with Cassie and so he decided to team up with Diddy and his Bad Boy company.
Cassie's first album will be released this summer and her first video "Me & U" will be shown soon.
