Why do you thin some countries are doubling much more rapidly than others?
I think that some countries are doubling much more rapidly for many different reasons; perhaps in many third world countries females are uneducated about protection. They just keep on giving birth to many bodies. New born children are good help in the farm and in the house. In Hindu religion, parents need a baby boy because when that boy grows up, he light the funeral fire for the parents, if Hindu family would not have a boy, which means they’re not going to heaven.

Why do you think some countries, such as Latvia and Russia have reached a negative population growth?
I think that some countries, such as Latvia and Russia have reached a negative population growth because of low immigration and high emigration.

Which figures differ most greatly between countries, the birth rates or death rates? How would you explain the wide disparity between these rates among different countries?
The birth rates differed most greatly. In some countries such as Sudan and Afghanistan, these countries might not have access to birth control pills and condoms. In Afghanistan there is a war going on for the last 25 years, so because of the war people living in Afghanistan don’t have access to pills. When Sudan is known as a poor country, people do not have enough money to spend, but in Canada the birth rate is steady because, Canadians have access to birth pills and protection.

Why might the death rates relatively low in many of the countries with high birth rates?
Death rates are relatively low in many of the countries with high birth because some countries have good medical help, high life expectancy, healthy food, not any natural disasters, some cultures want many kids specially boys.

If you were a national leader in Sudan and Iraq, would you be concerned about the rapid population growth? Why or why not?
Yea, because there are not enough of natural resources in the world to feed the growing population. In countries such as Iraq and Sudan.

If you were a national leader in Italy, would you be concerned that your country has reached zero/negative population growth? Why or why not?
Yes, because birth rate is not high enough to make a good population so they must really start accepting immigrants.
