That new original character, Shiori, IS Lights girlfriend. I think Light meets Ryuk out in the dark streets instead of his bedroom. Lights sport is basketball and not tennis. Naomi actually meets Light and Shiori together. It seems Shiori was killed by a stray bullet on the streets and Lights reason to "clense the world of badness" derives from the death of his girlfriend. When Light kills Raye on train scene, Naomi somehow finds her way to Rayes side as he dies. Naomi shoots self in head in front of police squad on notes orders. I didnt see much of ANYTHING of Misa in any trailers or interviews- she may be a bit more minor than Shiroi and Naomi. I THINK one of the police squad members was turned into a girl character. L and Light are hot. Ryuk freaks me out upclose on big screen tv.
