In our childhood we dreamed of different occupations. I recall that in Soviet Union time boys wanted to be cosmonauts and when The Soviet Union collapsed and some of them got the opportunity to have different interesting toys, most of them wanted to be transformers)
Girls wanted to be teachers, doctors and mothers, of course (but I suppose I can't name being a mother as an occupation).
I'd like to find out if someone's wishes coincide with someone's possibility and real life.
So, there's a question for you: who did you want to be and where do you work now?

I dreamed of becoming a nurse in the kindergarten... Hehe! Then I gave up this idea... and then I wanted to become a teacher... But now I'm working as a secretary as u know... And I don't know what I wanna be now..But I hope a good specialist!
At first I wanted to be a doctor. Then when I began to study English, I wanted to be teacher of English. Later - veterinary, that was for a long time. I imagined myself helping animals, especially hoerses as I like them very much.
For now I want to work as interpreter, but at present am working in the sphere of sales :-)

I wanted to be a captain of a ship ;) Really. Then a spy. Of course, a super hero :) (not a job but still a dream) Now I teach at the university.

In my childhood I wanted to be a postman. Because I liked his bag and wanted to read other people's letters...And liked writing letters by myself.
Now I'm going to be a teacher of English. But it has never been my dream in the childhood...)))
As for me I dreamed of being a writer or a photographer. When I was 14 years old I decided to be a teacher if English. I graduated from University 3 years ago but I didn’t want to work at school. So myy job was connected with book sales and publishing houses. Now I’m bring up my son and study management.

Yes, and linguist as well… Unfortunately I haven’t had any practice in English for 2 years already. Shame on me but sometimes I use dictionary to find a simple word!
Sepa, I think it happens to all of us from time to time, I mean using a dictionary for finding a simple word)
