A man walked in the city and suddenly he rushed to a woman and began to throttle her. Of course, he was arrested, but later at the police it turned out that that woman was his wife. So, after the investigation and court session the man was justified and released from prison. Why?

Was he throttling her to save her from something? ))))
Was there something about the way she looked that made him throttle her?
Did she owe something to him?
Was everything all right with the woman?

She was all right and she didn't owe anything to him. And, I think, nothing awful...
