Ingmar Bergman....has gone...
He was really one of my favorite directors. I loved the themes he was exploring and the WAY he did it: especially about the "photography" (the crops, this wonderful use of the black and white...)...these wonderful sequences were no dialogs were needed...just the eyes or the silent movements of the lips were speaking..
When I went to Sweden,in my little village, was a very old white church....the first time I've entered inside...I got an absolute Huge emotion because this little church reminded me the ones of his movies..
It's just a little detail, but those little details carry a lot of Emotion for me...
When his autobiography book was released,I bought it in France...it was a such great pleasure to read it (the same for the autobiography of Liv Ullmann)...and last year, I was so happy because I've found an old book: it was "Laterna Magica"...the same book in Swedish...it's now in Paris in my bookshelves..
Bergman was really making the style of movies I LOVE.
