first I have to say that I mentioned to him that it is only my opinion....I am not forcing them. Ya ne xotel vliyat' na ixnie mneniya i jelaniya....But he told her knowing she will be upset...I blame him. Read!The thing is his wife is pregnant. And she doens't want to know the sex of the baby. It's coll with me. I don't care. All I said was, "Why she doens't want to know?" He got angry and said that she wants to keep it a surprise....
My response was that how can she live 9 months with the feelings of uncertanty? Doesn't she want to have dreams abouther child? And plus, I sadi I think it is a good idea to know for being ready EMOTIONALLY and PSYCHOLOGICALLY to meet the baby whether its a boy or girl...What if you expect a boy....and all of a sudden it's a girl? So, Marrtini, now you see what pissed me off.

ну что я могу сказать - очень странная причина чтобы обидеться - эти твои слова. В них нет ничего обидного - это очевидно. Это только твоё мнение) и если бы я скажем такое услышала - а я тоже не собираюсь узнавать пол ребёнка ;) , я одинаково буду рада и мальчику и девочке - то я бы просто пожала плечами,улыбнулась бы и сказала - ну вот когда придёт такое время может быть ты тоже передумаешь узнавать ;) )

da, ochen'....now I am upset....I don't even met her since she got pregnant.
She didn't get pregnant for many years, maybe thats why she is very sensitive?

the owrst part is that he said that I said the studies show....etc. that what I said was right.
I didn't mention any studies. Hoenestly....
But why you don't want to know the sex?what is it changing? I can't undersatnd woman....

Noah_Brown, кстати - вполне может быть....говорят женщины очень раздражительны и капризны в этот период бывают....так что в принципе объяснимо)
не расстраивайся - всё как-нибудь уладится) осоеноо когда малыш родится - уже не до обид будет рядом с такой радостью)
почему не хочу узнавать - ;) как раз чтоб это было неожиданным для всех - для меня для друзей для родителей...ну для отца ребёнка тоже) так что видишь - я разделяю её мнение)) бесспорно - делать узи, чтоб знать что ребёнок нормально развивается, но просить врача не уточнять кто... ;)

But, I guess a fact that you are ghaving a baby is a surprise itself....So, I don't thihnk the sex of the baby makes the big surprise. I would like to know from the beggining...why not? Noah_Brown, может про роль ты и прав но...можно на компромисс если уж муж скажем тоже захочет знать - пусть ему скажут а он пообещает мне что будет молчать - и все довольны)))

When a baby is newborn, It's not a big difference, boy or girl, and father has a lot time to understand what kind of father he is now.

Доктора говорят, что знать заранее мальчик будет ребенок или девочка - не очень полезно для ребенка. Младенец сам по себе практически бесполое существо и родители должны к нему относиться просто как к своему ребенку, не отдавая предпочтения какому-либо полу, потому что дети очень чувствительны к психическому состоянию родителей и особенно к тому, как к ним относятся. А при определении пола бывают ошибки: что если врач скажет, что ждете девочку, а родиться мальчик? Такое бывает, а вы уже кукол Барби накупили, и вообще только девочку и ждали. Вот мои родители ждали мальчика, а родилась я - девочка. И мне было обидно, что я как-будто не нужна. :(
