That is Chris. It is his Canon DSLR, but I have not paid attention to which model it is or which lens he is using here. 75 to 200MM????? I am not sure... sorry!

I can read only a few words. I do not speak Russian at all. I use the online translator, Babel Fish, to read your Russian. It does a pretty bad job!!

Алексей, I went to see Chris' camera...
It is a new model, Canon EOS 5D, lens in the photo is 24~70MM, flash 430EX.
He said it was his gift to himself for his graduation from University. :)))
He also has a D40 and other zoom lenes!!

it is interesting to see its photoworks. Where I can see? Itself I use old nikon d50 with a lens fix 50 mm F1.8 and nikon d 60 with a lens 24-70 f2,8 (tamron)

Nikon is excellent. In the good old days of film I used a Nikon FTN SLR with the normal 50MM lens. I bought it in the Navy Exchange. When I lived in Tokyo later I got a Nikomat EL, more automatic. Then I had a Nikon 4004 body with some autofocus zoom lenses.

I do not have an address for Chris' photos. I'll have to ask if he would like me to show his work. He certainly seems to have picked up the photo bug from me though. And my younger son is an artist. He went to the major art school in Detroit and works in advertising.

Врождество it was necessary to come to work. Celebrating of New Year, really was possible. New year met in Northern city of Petrozavodsk. I and 13 more friends have gathered in a small small house with a fireplace. There was a lot of laughter and веселия. The house was in wood, on the bank of the frozen lake. Happy New Year!!!!
