This is a Sony DSC-S2100, made in China. 12.1 MP. 3" screen. Works well in bright light, but seems to lose color quality in low light. I was surprised by today's result in late afternoon, high contrast lighting. Small shirt pocket cameras are hard for me to hold still. I prefer the larger DSLR for the size of my hands.

Fred_in_Westland, I use Fujifilm finepix hs25exr. http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital_cameras/s/finepix_hs50exr/ (new analog) Digital camera wth 16 MP, incredible zoom 30x, there are several pre-settings and ability manual settings as true SLR-cameras. Handy body for comfort using. And main reason why I bought it is a low price! I am not a professional photographer and am not Canon's fan, so it is suitable for me. :)

However, my camera's price is much more than $80. MSPR for hs25exr is $350.

Valentinych, your camera looks like a very good one! My first digital camera was a Fuji, but but very basic 2 mp, 3x zoom. I now have three Sony cameras. My DSLR is the a55, 16 mp. I am not professional either. But my son's use Canon. :))) Camera technology changes so fast I want a new one already!!

Oh, yeah! New technology is so fast and amazing! For example, my camera can record video and shoot a photo at the same time, without of necessary stop recording.
