Thank you, Lena. Sony DSLR a55 with 18~250 zoom lens. Set to Macro. I Photoshop all and use the sharper focus button. My eyes are not what the used to be and on the monitor screen they look fuzzy to me. And the depth of field sometimes throws me off a bit. :)) Glad you like it.
This camera is 16.1 MP. and I STILL want more!!
Fred_in_Westland, I guessed it was a DSLR camera. I see. I was told that those are great for macro shots, but not so great for zooming in. Have you tried to zoom in up to 30 times or so and take a shot without a tripod?
user=self-made], my smaller point and shoot Sony is only a 15x1 zoom, so I have not tried to hand hold any 30X1 zooms. But I can imagine how you must breath or brace yourself with your camera. Of course, Sony's image stabilization helps quite a lot!
Are you still commuting today in this heat?? Call in sick!!!
Fred_in_Westland, Sony does a great job at stabilizing the image, the shutter speed is very quick.
As to the heat, everything is air conditioned, including my car and Metro, so I am fine :) Just have to run for lunch somewhere very close to my office. Other than that, I only spend time outside in the morning and in the evening when it's not too hot. Another few days of this - and then back to normal :)
