INVITATION TO THE 12th ANNUAL KICKBOXING TOURNAMENT
“ESTOPEN, 2008”.

INVITATION Estonian Kickboxing Federation invites all Kickboxing clubs to participate in the 12th annual Kickboxing Tournament “ESTOPEN,2008” in January 25-27, 2008.

Competition is organized by the executive Committee of EKBF, under the amateur kickboxing rules of WAKO, participating teams must follow this program:

PROGRAMM. The competition will take place in Rakvere town, 97 km from in January 25-27, 2008.
January, 25 (Friday):
Arrival of teams and judges.
15.00 – Transfer from Tallinn to Rakvere for foreign teams (Balti jaam)
18.00-20.00 - Weighting-in and medical check.(Kastani 12)
21.00 – Draw
January, 26 (Saturday):
10.00- Qualification fights (Part 1)
15.00– Opening ceremony. Qualification fights (Part 2)
20.00 – Free pass to “Carola” club. Sauna relaxation for officials and referees
January,27 (Sunday):
10.00-11.00 – Weighting-in for finalists
12.00- Finals, awarding ceremony 19.00– Rock-concert (Tanel Padar)
21.00 – SIONARA PARTY (Club Carola, first-one beer free)
January,28 (Sunday):
Departure of the teams
9.00- Transfer to Tallinn for foreign teams (to Balti jaam)

PARTICIPATION. All kick-boxing clubs of Estonia and other states, according to given entry-forms.
Each club can present several fighters in each weight division. The fighters level should be no lower than –
SENIORS no less than 1 (one) year practice of kickboxing and experience of ring-fights
JUNIORS no lower than 2.junior sport-grade

RULES Competition is held under amateur WAKO rules.

Protests during the competition - to the name of General referee with pledge 500 EEK. Answer after 1 hour , from the moment of presenting.
PROTECTION. according to WAKO-rules fighters bring by themselves

STARTING FEE Starting fee - 400 EEK ( Estonian crowns) per competitor.
Payment during the registration in cash.
1 EUR = 15,64 EEK




ACCOMMODATION
Organizer is responsible for accommodation of the referees, but only for appointed by organizing committee. Approved list of referees (accommodation free) will be sent for participating teams i0ne week before competition.
All accommodation and food expenses on the account of participating teams.
Official hotel in Rakvere for accommodation – Hotel WESENBERGH (www.wesenbergh.ee) Tallinna Str.25
PRICES you can find on the web-site of the hotel and it will be apprx. 20% cheaper for kickboxing teams (for example Double – 700 EEK). Possibility for cheap accommodation in 3-5 person flats (cocking in flat-kitchen) 250 EEK per person/night – appx. 35 beds.
1 EUR = 15,64 EEK
Booking should be made directly to hotels booking office (info@wesenbergh.ee) with code-word “kickboxing” during DECEMBER, 2007 DO NOT BE LATE WITH YOUR BOOKING OF HOTEL! Federation can only help you to find hotel, but is not responsible for it. You must order and book hotels by yourself.

VISA. All participants must take visas in Estonian embassies in their countries if needed.

MEDICAL SERVICES Organizer is responsible for medical help to all official members of participating teams during the competition (according to their health-insurance).

MEDALS AND AWARDING. All first three places winners will have medals and diplomas.
3 Special awards (best technique, best male-fighter, best female-fighter –500 EUR each !).

WEIGHTING-IN READ THIS CAREFULLY !!! Registration and weighting-in of the fighters will be made after presenting the following papers:
1. Kickboxing pass (for clubs WAKO or other kickboxing world federation members MANDATORY) or some other ID with the picture of the fighter and the date of birth for another fighting federations.
2. One fresh photo-picture of the fighter for pass to the venue. All coaches and representatives should have pictures for the pass too. NO REGISTRATION without picture !
3. Money in cash for starting fee.
