Anette Olzon, what do the other memebers of the band call you: ar you perhaps Anette, Netta or even Mrs. Olzon? Hah, they call me Anette and in addition to that I have a nickname "Mumma" [something like "Granny"].
It was the Nightwish manager Ewo Pohjola's idea. My "code name" was Grandma Duck before my identity was revealed. Then it just stuck. I recently bought a miniature granny-Barbapapa for my son as a present so we now have a miniature granny and a granny at home!

Do you have any Granny Duck -like charateristics? I will probably become some sort of den mother for the boys. I've always been a caring type.
I won't scold them for smoking and drinking, I'm not that kind of person. But maybe I can help them and be there to listen to their worries. I'm a natural listener. People come to talk to me because I'm a positive person by nature.

If the Nightwish boys offer you a shot, will you drink it? I will drink it. I'm don't really drink that much because my hangovers are absolutely horrible. It runs in the family. If I didn't suffer from hangovers, I might possibly drink a bit more.

Is it more difficult for a mother to be rock than for a father? It's an outdated idea that the mother wants to spend more time with her children than the father.
In modern society both the mother and the father are equally important to the child. People have always said that the mother has a special bond to her children. I don't think it's true. The father can be just as important to the child as the mother. In this light it's equally easy and difficult for a mother and a father to be rock.

If you were to sing karaoke, what would you sing? I don't usually sing karaoke even though I've worked as a karaoke hostess when I was younger and even as a judge in a contest. When I was young I always sung Whitney Houston because I wanted to challenge myself.
