A crowd of over a thousand attended the awards ceremony at the Roundhouse in Camden, London on October 3rd, including celebrities, media and music industry professionals. The night was hosted by Edith Bowman and big winners on the night included Muse and Thom Yorke, who scooped two awards each. Other winners included Lily Allen as best Pop Act, The Streets, Lemar, Lorraine and the White Stripes. Peter Gabriel was handed the Pioneer Award for his work within the digital music industry in a first for the BT Digital Music Awards.
