In 1999, Trent finally released the long awaited The Fragile, an epic double CD that confirmed that Trent was still a genius and could no wrong. It feautured the single Starfucker, Inc., which was an attack on former friend Marilyn Manson. The break up of their relationship made Trent feel betrayed. During the making of The Fragile Trent;s Grandmother died and he fell into despair. He made a song called I'm Looking Forward to Joining You, Finally, a song with haunting lyrics and bass line. The first half of 2000 saw Trent a happier person, and the release of Starfuckers, inc. video.

It feautured Trent and a mystery date to a carnival, in the middle of no where, playing games like "Smash the Plate", with Celebs faces on. The plates feautured famous people that Trent didn't like to much like Fred Durst, Courtney Love, Marilyn Manson and Himself. In an ironic twist, the mystery date turns out to be Marilyn Manson in drag; signifying their renewed friendship. During the end of Starfuckers, Inc. Manson comes on and sings the last bit with Trent and stays on to sing The Beautiful People, a single from Manson's Antichrist Superstar album.
