4:19 pm A Fantasy Realm Too Vile for Hobbits
Which is how the New York Times described George RR Martin's series, Song of Ice and Fire. I'm in agreement, Westeros could have Middle-Earth for breakfast, Tyrion would beat Frodo senseless and Sauron would be Cersei's bitch before the end of the day.
*sudden image of the Nazgul manning the Night Watch*
Heh, well, they did say they needed men, and the Others shouldn't be the only ones with walking dead.
And as for Gandalf, well, he might last a while, but that'll change pretty quickly when he meets Melisandre. *burn baby burn!*
Actually, the real problem would be actually finding bad guys, I mean, we've got Cersei, but she's more mental than evil (if I was in her place I'd go off the deep end too), and the Others, but we know nearly nothing about them.
The elves might be okay... until they meet someone ready to do some pretty unchivalrous things, then they'll be toast.
Aragorn... CELEBRITY DEATHMATCH! Aragon vs Sandor!
*chop chop chop*
Sandor: Ha! You die bitch!
And then there's the dragons...
Yeah, Middle Earth would be toast
