Suicide Is Painless — это кавер-версия песни Джонни Мэндела и Майка Олтмэна из сериала M*A*S*H (1972—83), рассказывающего о буднях мобильного хирургического госпиталя во время американо-корейской войны 1950—53 гг. По сравнению с оригинальной версией, текст песни сокращен.

В декабре 2000 г. в интервью MTV Мэнсон сказал о песне следующее: «Насколько я помню, когда начинался фильм, эта песня всегда нагоняла на меня тоску, но она шла без слов. Я нашел слова и подумал: „Меня обвиняют за то, что я говорю в своих песнях. А это очень мрачная вещь“. Это красивая песня, но она очень депрессивная. Так что я должен был ее перепеть».
