наш НГ был таким обычным-поели, посмотрели русТиВи, даже не танцевали... Сьездили в гости... самый опбычный НГ в моей жизни, не смотря на то, что ребёнка с нами не было... [699x486]
Honey, how do you get this nice interesting coloring on your picture? And i really like how it's exposed.
can you tell me the stats of the camera and the flash for this picture?
I bought 580II EX and it seems to underexpose my images...damn Canon... at least to my liking...
Elena_Ollick, you got some real good flash now, huh? well, what I do is basically shoot in M mode with my flash turned on and pointing to the celling- the reason I do that is because I just want to fill room with light and don't kill the whole atmosphere of coloring! Te setting on my camera very depending on what kind of DOF I want to get ( depth of Filed) and usually fast speed (closing of a shutter like 1/60, I think that is what I used all night in New Year's pictures) and also try to play with your ISO setting, do not go over 400 though- or you'll get too much noise. I did 200 on this picture: it gets more "light"( read color) to the sensor that way and gives you more flexibility with Aperture and Shutter settings! Also play with exposure settings ( ie center-weighted exposure vs spot, etc. ) - I usually adjust all the settings and let Sasha shoot away the picture pf me, but he blows it anyway, cause he doesn't usually pay attention to where the lens is getting focused- out of 50 pictures of me that night I got maybe 1-2 good ones! ;) Hope this helps!
Love_Cyber_Cat, Well, I know all that stuff.... but somehow i am not happy with the flash... not doing it for me..
I actually taught AJ to look at the autofocus dots, so he's real good now...
Did you work on this pic in Photoshop or lightroom at all?
Elena_Ollick, I resized it in Photoshop. Almost any picture can be fixed in Photoshop, but if you are taking 400 pics and not happy with the lighting it kind a sucks... Most pictures that I take I am happy with ONLY if I think and then shoot away, if I carelessly turn the camera on and give it away to Sasha - most likely picture will suck.. :)))
Elena_Ollick, hey, why won't you get yourself Lightroom it is cheap! What I like about it is that you can see all the picture info on a side panel and analyze it, making sure your next picture is going to look better cause you took a note that you needde faster shatter for example! And only practise will make it better.. ;)
