You know what, guys, this woman really have decided to completely destroy me to pieces. Just finished waching the LAST seventh part of
Prime Suspect detective series. Gosh, this was hard. First of bloody all Dame Helen Mirren does an outstanding, worth Oscar Award, performance in the whole series bringing the ordinary detective story plot to a High Drama level, we see her heroine DCI, then DS Jane Tennison through her career down to a retirement at the end of the Episode Seven: "The Final Act", as a complete character, full of life and her own problems, which usually stand aside in the detective stories we re used to. Then the plot of each series is great, dramatic, suspencial, moving getting higher and stronger till the most powerful and nerves striking last one, in which Jane Tennison, never married and without children, meets this 14 year old girl, who, by Jane's own words "Stole her heart!". We see a friendship of an old woman and a nice and beautiful young girl, but it goes down to such an emotional disaster, that it's really very hard to bear.
Summarizing - I bow down to my knees to Dame Helen, applaude and salute her, she's a gorgeaous worth looking at actress. And Laura Greenwood in the last episode also did an outstanding job in the role of Penny. British acting school is still alive and powerful, which really cheers up old dwarf's heart.
