Вчера получила письмо от Брайна. Такое теплое и душевное... (Бессомненья, я оч.мнительная девочка с богатым воображением.) Но в здесь совсем другой случай. Мне просто приятно общаться с этим человеком. Надо признать, что он оч. внимательный и интересный собеседник.

I'm sorry to hear that your mother is ill. I hope she is doing better. And no need to apologize for the delay in writing. I know how hectic things can be, so I don't worry when I don't hear from you – I know you're there!
As for the "exam" you were mentioning, we have something like it here, but not at the university level (at least not at the undergraduate level). When you get a master's degree or a doctorate degree here you have to write a big paper and then defend your thesis. But that's only at the graduate level, and even then, it doesn't apply to everything. For instance, I am getting both my masters and doctorate degree (a master's in environmental law, and a juris doctors degree –
a J.D. – which is the law degree here), but I don't have to defend any thesis. I have to complete quite a large research and writing assignment, but I don't have to present or defend anything. Hopefully what I wrote isn't too confusing! Needless to say, I do understand what you meant, and I know that you're a superstar – so you have nothing to worry about! You did great!

Thanks for the new pictures. I actually opened my email at work, which I usually don't do. I also looked at that Web site with all your pictures. Wow! Some made me quite excited (like the one of you in a swimsuit and others where you are showing off your body)! :) Also, I know I have said it before, but it bears repeating: you have very beautiful eyes! They are mesmerizing! And don't even get me started on your entire figure/body -- it's very pleasing! I'm glad
that we are getting to know each other better and I really enjoy your photos too. I always smile when I get new ones from you. I will take some more photos of me and send them to you for next time. Maybe I'll make them a bit risquИ! Got any suggestions? :) Also, I should have some new photos when I return from seeing my family at the end of May.

There isn't too much new stuff happening right now. I have four days left with this current internship. It's been good. I will miss being at the law firm when the internship is over. They were all very good people and treated me nicely. The receptionist even bought me three ties and wrote me a very nice good-bye letter. Sometime before my last day the firm is taking me out to lunch. I have mixed feelings about whether I would want a permanent job here. If they offered, I would take it, but there are certain aspects which I'm not crazy
about. I'm curious to see how my next internship goes over the summer.
Also, I went to a concert last night. Starflyer 59 was the band thating was play They are a rock band - I guess you could call them that – they have a mellow sound. I like them. I should send you some of their stuff! Not too many people know about them – there were maybe 50 people there, so it was a very intimate atmosphere. It was a good show. I'm a bit tired today because of that concert, but that's ok.

Well, I guess that's it for now. I hope to hear from you soon – but don't worry if you're busy and can't write for a little bit. I understand.
