I managed to squeeze in a short trip to Boston amidst my hectic schedule. Thanks to my great friends, who treated me like a queen, I've had a great time and managed to explore a great deal of Boston in such a short time. It was my third time in Boston, but I believe I've never heard of Boston Harbor Islands before. There are a few of them that you can get to by taking the ferry, but we've stayed a few hours on the Georges Island, which is home to Fort Warren. We've roamed around the fort, watched some birds, walked the rocky beach, and even stumbled upon a few apple trees with delicious fruit.
Beautiful views of the ocean, the lighthouses, and the view of Boston from the harbor is magnificent.

Nice. My friend moved there. He's saying it's a great city.

I heard good stuff about Boston. The harbor looks kind of similar to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore.

Loclier, self-made, compared to all the cities of New England, Boston is the most friendlyone, in myopinion. It's very historical, not too big, offers plenty of opportunities employmentwise, and there's always plenty of entertainment. I love it. As soon as I got to my friend's place, first thing she handed me, was the apartment guide; she tries her best to get me to move there asap. :) I don't know if I'm ready to move back to the city though. At this point of my life I'm more inclined to the peacefulness of surrounding nature rather than the bustling sounds and comforts that only the city can offer. Ahhh...decisions, decisions, decisions.

CRAZY_VENUS, yeah, there is a big difference between living right in the city and living in suburbs. This is the furthest from the city I have ever lived – half and hour drive to downtown. At first I thought wouldn’t like it at all. But now I don’t mind it. It’s enough for me to go to the city once in a few weeks. There are other places to visit outside of city. Everything is greener and more relaxing here. And especially if I will end up working downtown, I don’t think I will want to spend much more time there :) I will probably want to relax on my deck among the flowers in stead of listening to the vibe of the city streets…
