Май в этом году правильный. Не жарко, не холодно. Особенно приятно гулять в парке. В прошлое воскресенье отправился на Dram Circle в Prospekt Park, прихватив с собой Любину фотокамеру.
В этом месте уже хорошо слышны барабаны. За той беседкой, Drum Circle. Здесь, на берегу озера, я обычно останавливаюсь передохнуть от ходьбы с тяжёлым барабаном за спиной.
Drum Circle. В основном здесь чёрные. Вообще эта сторона парка примыкает к их району. Полюбил я это место. Вот уже несколько лет, почти каждое воскресенье, как только открывается сезон, хожу сюда на Drum Circle.

In 1968, the Congo Square Drummers met here informally, and since then the circle expanded to include an ever-evolving mix of musicians, dancers and vendors. The growing popularity of this area as a site for a weekly drumming circle inspired the Prospect Park Alliance to add seating and officially name the site. Many of the circle founders are world-class musicians and teachers who carry on this tradition for a new generation of drummers. If you're interested in practicing your drumming, or learning from the masters, stop by the Drummer's Grove any Sunday after 2 p.m. Anyone is free to bring their drums and participate, or just stop and listen while passing by on the East Lake Drive.
