You are invited to the annual gathering of the tribes of the Rainbow Family of Living Light Peace and Healing Gathering  

We, who are brothers & sisters, children of God, families of life on earth, friends of nature & of all people, children of humankind calling ourselves Rainbow Family Tribe, humbly invite: 

All races, peoples, tribes, communes, women, men, children, individuals -- out of love. 

All nations & national leaders -- out of respect 

All religions & religious leaders -- out of faith 

All politicians -- out of charity 

All friends and family - - too long from home 

to join with us in gathering together for the purpose of expressing our sincere desire that there shall be peace on earth, harmony among all people;& to hold  open worship, prayer, chanting or whatever is the want or desire of the people, for three days, but upon the fourth day of July at noon to ask that there be a meditative, contemplative silence wherein the children of mankind pray for world peace and give consideration, honour & respect to anyone or anything that has aided in the positive evolution of humanity & all life upon this, our most beloved & beautiful world -- asking blessing upon we people of this world in the hopes that we people can effectively  persevere, to evolve, expand, adapt & live in harmony & peace.                   - Amen

The Gathering is not a protest.  The Rainbow gathering is not a demonstration FOR peace. The Rainbow Family Gathering of Living Light is a demonstration OF  PEACE; an intentional community of compassionate, idealistic, faithful, prayerful people endeavoring to demonstrate WHAT PEACE IS. 

Never before in our history has the need for collective prayer been so great and 

Together we can make a difference. Our prayerful unity can make that difference. 

 Together in silent prayer,  we can move mountains & This is an opportunity for the people of the world, brothers and sisters of humankind, to say to the politicians of the world WE WANT PEACE and we will exercise our right to PRAY FOR PEACE. 

This is why we need you to pray with us, because so many people think they don’t count…..and You might be the 100^th monkey! People of faith, regardless of belief, need to take a quantum leap into love, in this world of global warmongering, natural disasters, strife, starvation, & slavery. In such a time of global conflict, we must come together in loving unity. 

IMAGINE.... 

Our voices together, 100,000 strong, in a silent meditative prayer 

FOR WORLD PEACE.  

In 1970, a small band of hippies with a vision traveled throughout America passing out the original invitation. It was posted on billboards, passed out hand to hand & mailed to any parties they thought might be interested. This invitation caught the imagination of a generation & The Spiritual Phenomenon that is the Rainbow Gathering and the prayer for world peace sprang forth from this original invitation..….It is our thought that by recirculating this invitation through cyberspace  it could reach millions of souls around the world, not just America.  To reach that goal, we are asking you to send this invitation to your friends, to your families, to the people in your address list, to e-groups, to blogs, websites, interest groups, affinity groups, churches, politicians, etc. ad infinitum…..Imagine, 100 monkeys*…a 1,000 monkeys….100,000 monkeys….1 million monkeys praying for peace.
