Pig meat should not be eaten by Jews or Muslims. Why?
A pig is called a "dirty" animal. Others say that pork is affected by parasitic, bacterial and viral diseases.
Many peoples have studied food hygiene issues. Many nationalities do not prohibit the use of pork!
I think the ban on pork had a medical, social and religious background. This was due to epidemics of syphilis, leprosy, and the establishment of the family institution. This was accompanied by the natural destruction of the Gentile way of society, in which sexual relations outside the family had no strict moral prohibition.
Otherwise, the Jewish state could not have arisen. The ideological support was monotheism (one God – one family) and a strict ban on marriage with representatives of other nationalities, which was presented as a terrible sin!
«Lest thou make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, and they go a whoring after their gods, and do sacrifice unto their gods, and one call thee, and thou eat of his sacrifice»(Exodus 34:15).
«And thou take of their daughters unto thy sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make thy sons go a whoring after their gods.»(Exodus 34:16).
Judaism has had a great influence on the traditions of Islam…
A typical symptom of congenital syphilis is a Saddle-shaped nose (sagma nasus). In full face, the patient's appearance often resembled a pig's "Piglet" (figures 1 and 2).

Other complications of congenital syphilis: high perinatal mortality, hydrocephalus, deafness, blindness, dementia… The pathogenesis of tertiary syphilis is similar to the development of leprosy. Externally, these are non-healing ulcers. Infection has long been considered the result of supernatural influence:
"The first angel went and poured out his Cup on the earth, and ugly, festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshipped his image"(Revelation 16:2).
Doctors of ancient Egypt, where the Jews took medical knowledge, tried to fight infection during surgical operations. Circumcision was also used in Egypt.
Due to damage to the Central nervous system, late congenital syphilis caused inappropriate behavior of the patient – a real curse of the genus. Pagan tribes that were infected with syphilis could not have many strong warriors.
In the interpretation of the ancestors of the Russian people, this trouble (a generic curse) was expressed subjectively in the guise of representatives of "evil spirits".
