Хрусталь в стиле "ренессанс". 19 век.

Во второй половине 19 века венские мастера делали вещи в стилистике ренессанса, иногда они были просто копиями по форме и декору.

Фигурки птиц и дельфины, нефы- очень похожие вещи 16-17 веков есть в музеях, я их показывала в прошлом посте.

Ручки ваз и кубков делали в виде мифологических персонажей, русалок, декор повторял ренессансный гротескный орнамент.
Хрусталь декорировали металлом и эмалью, венская эмаль была очень популярна, и до сих пор эти вещи продаются на аукционах за баснословные суммы.

Renaissance style silver-gilt and enamel mounted rock crystal cups made in the second half of the 19th century by Hermann Ratzersdorfer of Vienna. The hippocamp cup sold for $137,878, and the ostrich cup with blackamoor rider for $183,208.
