Tutorial : Rorolina

This is a very easy bracelet using right angle weave and netting. You make each piece and connect them together into the bracelet or necklace. Or you can make a ring or pendant from each piece too.

Equipment
- Pearl or round beads 6mm. (Swarovski Platinum pearl 6mm.)
- Czech fire polished 4mm. (Amethyst Luster)
- Crystal bicone 3mm. (Violet AB2X)
- Seed beads 11/0 (Galvanized Silver)
- Seed beads 15/0 (Silverlined Purple)
- KO beading thread or nymo or your favorite thread
- Needle
- Clasp and jumprings

Rorolina is a alchemist from the video game Atelier series (PS3).

1.

Cut the thread around 25 inches. Pick up one 11/0 seed bead and one 6mm pearl. Repeat another three times for the total of eight beads. Sew to the first 11/0 seed bead (red arrow). Sew to all the beads twice for good tension. Don't cut the tail.

Pick up one 4mm czech , one 11/0 seed bead and one 4mm czech. Sew to the first 11/0 seed bead (red arrow). Continue to the next 6mm pearl and 11/0 seed bead (blue arrows).

Repeat step 2 three times around the piece. At the end, exit at the first 11/0 seed bead (red arrow).

Pick up six 11/0 seed beads. Skip the pearl and weave to the next 11/0 seed bead (red arrow).

Repeat step 4 three times. At the end, exit at the first 11/0 seed bead (red arrow).

Weave to the next three 11/0 seed beads. Pick up 15/0 seed bead and weave to the next two 11/0 seed beads.

Pick up one 15/0 seed bead and weave to the second and third 11/0 seed beads of the next arc (red arrows).

Repeat adding 15/0 to the remaining arcs. At the end, exit at the middle 15/0 seed bead (red arrow). Pull the thread snugly. This will bring the arc to the middle.

Pick up 3mm crystal and weave to the middle 15/0 seed bead of the next arc (red arrow).

Repeat adding 3mm crystal three times. Weave to all beads in this round twice.

I hope you still have some threads left. We will use it to connect to the next piece. Repeat from step 1 to 10 to create another piece.

Assembly
Again, you can connect each piece as you like. I just love to connect it in simple way.

Exit your thread at the 4mm czech (red arrow). Pick up one 11/0 seed bead, one 3mm crystal and one 11/0 seed bead. Weave to the 4mm czech of the next piece (blue arrow).

Weave to the next 6mm pearl and 4mm czech (red arrows). Pick up one 11/0 seed bead, one 3mm crystal and one 11/0 seed bead. Weave to the 4mm czech of the previous piece (blue arrow). Weave to all connecting beads twice for extra security. You can now tie the remaining thread with the tail.

Continue making pieces and connect them together.

Adding clasps
You can make your own beaded toggle and bar or any beaded clasps you like. I always prefer to make a ring of seed beads and use jumprings and clasps.

At the end of the bracelet, exit at the 4mm czech. Pick up one 11/0 seed bead, one 3mm crystal, five 11/0 seed beads, one 3mm crystal and one 11/0 seed bead. Weave to the 4mm czech to make a loop. Continue weaving to the next pearl and 4mm czech and weave to all beads twice for extra security.

Add jumpring and clasp.
