• Yellow Hand - казалось бы весьма вероятным, что группа, единственный альбом которой состоит из песен, в значительной степени сочинённых такими личностями как Neil Young и Stephen Stills, будет немного лучше известна, чем на самом деле. Шесть из десяти песен на их одноимённом альбоме были написаны Стиллзом и Янгом для Buffalo Springfield (группы до Crosby, Stills, Nash And Young), но в итоге до них не дошли (не было условий для записи) и каким-то непонятным образом попали для исполнения в Yellow Hand. Наряду с ними в альбоме, для его логического завершения, присутствуют ещё каверы на Delaney And Bonnie и три песни самой группы.Yellow Hand были типичной для конца 1960-х в США группой,фронтменом которой являлся вокалист Джерри Тони и который также написал часть оригинального материала альбома.Альбом в целом выглядит приятным, и хотя ни песни, ни вокалисты на нём не идут в сравнение с некоторыми вещами Buffalo Springfield, в то же время большинство его песен достойны того, чтобы быть услышанными.Звучание альбома отлично вписалось в West Coast течение и ассоциируется с Poco,The New Riders Of The Purple Sage и The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band.

This album would be utterly insignificant if not for the presence of half a dozen songs by Stephen Stills and Neil Young, originally written and demoed during the Buffalo Springfield era, but never officially released by that band (except for "Down to the Wire," which surfaced on Young's Decade compilation). God knows how Yellow Hand got a hold of them, and they squeeze the life out of the fairly good folk-rock tunes with run-of-the-mill 1970 rock arrangements and vocals. The record's filled out by three unmemorable songs composed by lead singer Jerry Tawney. Most of the Buffalo Springfield-affiliated rarities (Stills' "Neighbor Don't You Worry," "We'll See," "Come On Lover" and Young's "Down to the Wire" and "Sell Out") have circulated on bootlegs, particularly Buffalo Springfield's Stampede, and at this point it's actually a lot easier to track those illicit (and much better) versions down than the officially released ones on the long out-of-print Yellow Hand LP. This seems to be the only place you can hear Stephen Stills' "Hello, I've Returned" in any form, however.
