Round 1: Make 4ch, 1tr/dc in last ch, * 3ch, 2tr/dc in last ch; rep from * more 2 times, 3ch, slt in fourth ch.

Round 2: Make 4ch, 1tr/dc in last ch, * 3ch, 2tr/dc in last ch; rep from * more 2 times, 3ch, slt in fourth ch.

Round 3: Make 3ch, 1tr/dc in next tr/dc, 2tr/dc in next, 2ch, 2tr/dc in next tr/dc, 1tr/dc in each of next 2tr/dc, * 3ch, 1tr/dc in each of next 2tr/dc, 2tr/dc in next, 2ch, 2tr/dc in next tr/dc, 1tr/dc in each of next 2tr/dc; rep from * more 2 times, 3ch, slt in third ch.

Round 4: Make 4ch, work 3dec: make 1 incomplete tr/dc in third ch of previous round and 3 incomplete tr/dc in next 2tr/dc below, yarn over and draw through all loops on hook.

Make 3ch, 1dc/sc in third tr/dc below, * 3ch, 1dc/sc in next tr/dc, 3ch, work 3dec over 4tr/dc below, 3ch, 1dc/sc in fourth tr/dc below; rep from * more 6 time, 1ch, 1htr/hdc in first ch.

Round 5: Make 2ch, 1dc/sc in space of 1ch and htr/hdc, * 3ch, work 1tr/dc + 2ch + 1tr/dc + 3ch+ 1tr/dc + 2ch + 1tr/dc in space of 3ch, 3ch, 3dc/sc in next space of 3ch; rep from * more 2 times, 3ch, work 1tr/dc + 2ch + 1tr/dc + 3ch+ 1tr/dc + 2ch + 1tr/dc in space of 3ch, 3ch, 1dc/sc in next space of 1ch and htr/hdc, slt in second ch.

Round 8: Make 2ch, work 1htr/hdc in each of next puf, 1ch and dec sts; work 2htr/hdc + 2ch + 2htr/hdc in space of 3ch. Work slt in second ch at end of round.

Middle part

Work dc/sc around tr/dc and in spaces of 3ch:

Begin with first round,

fasten to 3chs and work 3dc/sc, work 3dc/sc over 3 ch of second and third rounds, then work 5dc/sc in space of 3ch of fourth round.

Work on opposite side, 5dc/sc in space of 3ch of fourth round, 3dc/sc over tr/dc of third round. Work 3dc/sc around next tr/dc of third round, 5dc/sc in space of 3ch of fourth round, work on opposite side, 5dc/sc in space of 3ch of fourth round, 3dc/sc over tr/dc of third, second and first rounds.

Continue in this manner until you get first dc/sc.

Materials: hook size 4 - 1.6mm and 100% cotton, 50g - 250m.
