The White House has released this picture of President Obama, Hillary Clinton and Vice President Joe Biden watching the mission against bin Laden unfold in the Situation Room of the White House, along with members of the national security team. The expressions on the faces of Obama and Clinton in particular are worth a thousand words.

One night President Obama and his wife Michelle decided to do something out of routine and go for a casual dinner at a restaurant that wasn’t too luxurious. When they were seated, the owner of the restaurant asked the president’s secret service if he could please speak to the First Lady in private. They obliged and Michelle had a conversation with the owner. Following this conversation President Obama asked Michelle, “Why was he so interested in talking to you.” She mentioned that in her teenage years, he had been madly in love with her. President Obama then said, “So if you had married him, you would now be the owner of this lovely restaurant,” to which Michelle responded, “No. If I had married him, he would now be the President.”
1. The girl married her Prince. The bad guy is dead. It's a real Disney weekend here on Earth.
2. “It was nearly 10 years ago that a bright September day was darkened by the worst attack on the American people in our history. The images of 9-11 are seared into our national memory: hijacked planes cutting through a cloudless September sky; the twin towers collapsing to the ground; black smoke billowing up from the Pentagon; the wreckage of Flight 93 in Shanksville, PA, where the actions of heroic citizens saved even more heartbreak and destruction. And yet we know that the worst images are those that were unseen to the world: the empty seat at the dinner table; the children who were forced to grow up without their mother, or their father; parents who would never know the feeling of their child’s embrace… Nearly three thousand citizens taken from us, leaving a gaping hole in our hearts. On September 11 2001, in our time of grief, the American people came together. We offered our neighbors our hand, and we offered the wounded our blood. We reaffirmed our ties to each other, and our love of community and country. On that day, no matter where we came from, what God we prayed to, or what race or ethnicity we were, we were united as one American family.”

3. “I guess it’s fair to say that when it comes to my presidency, the honeymoon is over. […] I’ve even let down my core constituency: movie stars. Matt Damon, I love Matt Damon, but the other day he said that he was disappointed in my performance. Well, Matt, I’ve seen the Adjustment Bureau, so, right back at you, buddy.”

7. “Tonight I can report to the American people and to the world that The United States has conducted an operation that has killed Osama bin Laden — the leader of al-Qaeda and a terrorist who is responsible for the murder of thousands of innocent men, women, and children.”
— President Barack Obama.
