Trafalgar Square is the geographical center of London. It named after the historical naval victory won by the British fleet under the command of Horatio Nelson over French-Spanish fleet. The battle took place at Cape Trafalgar in the mouth of the Straits of Gibraltar. Nelson was fatally wounded and died after the battle soon.
Nelson's Column rises in the centre of Trafalgar Square. It is about 52 meters tall. Statue of Admiral Lord Nelson is on top and facing towards the sea.
I want to visit London and walk on Trafalgar Square.
