My favourite pop star is Paul Oakenfold. He was born on 30 August 1963 in London.
In 1988 Paul made his first disk Summer of Love. Over 1 million copies were sold in the world and Paul became famous.
In 1998 he won Brit Award. He composed soundtracks to many famous films (The Matrix, James Bond: Die Another Day, Mission Impossible, The Bourne Identity).
After school he went to Cooking College, but dropped out in 1981. In 1982 Paul went to New York. The following year he went back and started DJ career.
In October 1993 he was married and he has a daughter. Her name is Christina.
