Люблю и безмерно уважаю этого гениального человека! Сам продюсирует свои альбомы, клипы, пишет музыку и слова к своим песням (и другим артистам так же). Снял фильм, в котором сыграл главную роль и к которому написал сценарий. Называется "The Secret". Снял сериал Panda Man. И ещё в некоторых фильмах снялся или принял то или иное участие в них. Потрясающий пианист. Вообщем, просто гениальная личность^^
А начать знакомство с ним стоит пожалуй вот с этой песни. Ост к фильму "Бесстрашный" (Fearless). Долгое время эта песня была для меня утренней заводилочкой ;) Бодрая и мощная.

И далее продолжим с песнями похожего стиля.
Dragon Rider (альбом 2008 года, Capricorn). Что-то из разряда поп-рок. У него вообще есть ещё несколько песен в таком же стиле, которые несколько похожи на Линкин Парк. Во всяком случае их влияние можно заметить. А Джей Чоу большой любитель экспериментов и смешения стилей. Начинал он вообще, как рэпер, а потом уже было сложно определить к какому стилю он относится, и теперь это просто называют J Style ^^
Здесь просто песня, клип ниже) Это одна из любимейших песен с этого альбома. Ещё могу выделить из этого же альбома песню Fragrance rice полностью написанную им самим. Очень легкая и светлая песня :)
Клип на песню Dragon Rider, но мне не нравится, что песня убрана на задний план, поэтому и ставлю клип отдельно, песня отдельно. По-поводу, сам придумал, сам снял, сам сыграл гг)) + вот, что называется денег много и хочется поиграться с визуальными эффектами - в итоге Матрица отдыхает ;)
Blue Storm. Оооо, как же я её люблю. Агрессивненькая такая. И он гениальный композитор *.* Стиль - поп-рок.
Dynasty Warrior (Unparalleled). Не уверена конечно, что она именно так называется, но это как раз та песня, которая очень сильно отдает Линкин Парком ^^
Теперь перейдем к его потрясающе красивым лиричным песням. У него голос невероятно сильно подходит для такого стиля: нежный и ласковый, и его стиль исполнения создает ощущение, что поет тебе на ушко, тихо и мягко...

Так как за его десятилетнюю карьеру клипов накопилось очень и очень много, а всё сразу вредно да и сложно, то перейдем к его последним творения с его нового альбома "The Era", за 2010 год. Хотя нет, перед этим вот ещё парочка весёлых и забавных клипов с предпоследнего альбома.
Mr. Magic. Кабаре стайл? о.О Но такой проказник здесь^^ Кстати, в этот период он сильно увлекся всеми этими трюками и фокусами.
Uncle Joker. Такой же стиль, так сказать из той же оперы, что и предыдущий клип ;)
Теперь же точно перейдем к альбому The Era. Первым предлагаю посмотреть клип на вампирскую тематику. Красивые костюмы и декорации, слов нет. Говорили, что и по финансам вышел дорогой клип...

Эта песня с очень большим смыслом, её можно назвать исповедью Джей Чоу. В ней он описал свою жизнь в мире шоубиза, чувства и проблемы, что его мучают, его страхи... просто показал, что он обычный смертный. сильный текст и ... правильный? не знаю как-то так...

Что еще хочется добавить - его музыка живая, это не просто искусственный бит. И этим она очень ценна. Талантливый композитор, что тут ещё добавишь...
